"The hotel was very, very clean and up. Kept for being over 300 years old. I love the building and the surrounding area. Every place in town was easily walkable. Plenty of activities to do water in front for water taxi's. Transportation to surrounding areas very easily accessible and very cheap using water. And buses for transportation."

"This hotel is a gem! Although our stay was short we really enjoyed the hotel and we would definitely come back if we return to the area. It’s located in a small island with many activities to enjoy- walk, jog, swim, go to the spa. We booked a room overlooking the water and it was extremely nice and quiet. The room had a good size and the bathroom was clean and nice. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. "

"A very stylish 'farm' in the Stockholm archipelago. The staff were amazingly friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. The accommodation / dining areas were absolutely gorgeous - a real treat to have such chic surroundings in a rural farm! We did the glamping which was fantastic - and gorgeous bathroom block to share with only 2 other tents. We loved the variety of animals around the farm and the various activities kept us busy for 3 days- although I wouldn't necessarily advise staying much longer than that. The only change I'd make is that if guests are paying to stay a few days, and having all your meals at the place, renting bikes or doing the activities (e.g. mini-golf) could perhaps be included in the price? They did not cost much but it just felt like they should be included in the price rather than 'extras' for goodwill. Highly recommend!"

"The property was wonderful with water views in all directions. We had lovely weather which made this property so enjoyable. The house is situated on a high location with amazing views and the dock is down a path to the water, making it nice to take a dip. The house is spacious, and well equipped for large groups. The surroundings are beautiful and very peaceful. It’s a lovely place in the Swedish archipelago. "

"Two factors made our stay at this house so memorable: 1) The house sits on the beautiful island of Stegesund (no cars, only a small dirt road) that overlooks gorgeous water just outside of the town of Vaxholm. The July sun bathes the house in warm light all day long. You get the benefit of feeling away from the city while only being a 5 minute ferry/boat ride away from Vaxholm. Very peaceful! 2)Anders, the host, was amazing to work with. From the booking process through to helping us organize a taxi ride to the airport, Anders was always responsive and willing to make our stay as carefree as possible. We will definitely stay here again if we get the opportunity."
