Melchseefrutt, Mörlialp (approx. 30 min. each), Hasliberg and Engelberg (approx. 50 min. each) are within easy reach for skiing. All excursion and hiking areas in Central Switzerland can be reached by car in a maximum of 1 hour. Ideal by car, during the season November - March and June - end of August the post bus runs from Sarnen to Langis and also serves the Stockenmatt stop. The taxi service is always available.
