We take great pride in our space - our goal is to provide you and your guests with a warm, comfortable, clean house in which you can unwind, relax, and enjoy good company.
The home is part of a quiet, residential neighborhood, and the driveway has space for 4 cars. The property has 4 spacious bedrooms - 3 queen beds & 1 king. Each bedroom includes a fan and its own sound machine for your convenience and relaxation.
A large, cozy living area - including a dining table with seating for 8 - is ideal for families, couples, or small groups to unwind after enjoying the unique attractions that Saratoga has to offer.
Want to spend some time outside? Enjoy our private, fenced-in backyard that boasts a NEW patio - complete with a dining table, seating & an umbrella - and an additional seating area outfit with new Adirondack chairs and a gas fire pit - so you can enjoy the beautiful Spring, Summer & Fall evenings in peace.
While horse racing sets the tone in Saratoga (it is walkable to the racetrack from our home), there are plenty of cultural, sporting and social outlets to choose from.
In Saratoga Spa State Park (just 4 miles away), the Saratoga Performing Arts Center’s amphitheater and sloping lawn draw crowds for live performances by popular bands, as well as the New York City Ballet and the Philadelphia Orchestra, both of which have summer residencies here. The 2,379-acre state park also contains the historic Gideon Putnam hotel, a mineral bath spa, a 27-hole public golf course, swimming pools and numerous hiking trails that wind past springs, geysers and spigots where you can sample the mineral waters.
The city has a second golf course, and the 4.5-mile-long Saratoga Lake (approximately 3 miles from our home) is surrounded by marinas, boat launch sites, fishing piers and waterfront restaurants.
During the warm, Summer months, more live music can be heard downtown at Caffe Lena, which claims to be the oldest folk-music coffeehouse in the country (a young Bob Dylan performed there in 1961).
The city's history comes alive at the Saratoga National Historical Park, commemorating the pivotal Battles of Saratoga in the American Revolution. Visitors can explore the park's preserved battlefield and the Schuyler House. In downtown Saratoga, the vibrant and walkable streets are lined with boutique shops, restaurants, and cafes, making it a charming destination for shopping and dining. Saratoga Springs offers a delightful blend of outdoor beauty, culture, and history, making it a must-visit location in New York State.
Other things to note: We provide the basic amenities you need as you book our place (e.g. hand soap, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, paper towel...) but further supplies - especially for long-stay bookings - need to be purchased on your own.
Please message me any time - my goal is to provide you with a fabulous stay!
