Sarasota Private Bungalow Oasis Close to Beaches & Downtown

Relax and unwind in our cozy, tranquil bungalow-perfect for a couples getaway and it’s a few minutes driving time to either Siesta Key or Lido Key beaches! Need a length of stay alteration, let us know.

The bungalow is a standalone building with its own mini-split A/C unit, surrounded by privacy fencing in a lush tropical setting with outdoor security cameras in the front and back yard. Features a q-size bed, private bath, kitchenette w/full-size refrigerator, **there is no stovetop/oven in the unit**, Kuerig coffee machine, blender, toaster, and hot water kettle. Smart TV with wireless Wi-Fi connection, linens, paper products, basic toiletry items (soap, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel), shared usage of patio/pool area (with owners) and an outdoor gas grill w/side burner (grilling utensils, pots/pans, assorted seasonings, etc. are also provided). *NOTE: The pool is NOT heated and the built in spa is NOT an available amenity.*

Heading to the any of the local beaches…we’ve got you covered with two beach chairs, an umbrella, beach towels, and sand blanket. Or if you prefer just to hang out at the shared pool (the pool is not heated and built-in spa is not an included amenity) space there is a shared comfy seating area, dining table and two lounge chairs.

We provide an initial supply of coffee, creamers, sweeteners and assorted snacks. Food/grocery markets abound with Publix, Aldi, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods or Morton’s specialty shops all within 5 miles.

Driving travel times to local areas of interest from our location during non-peak times are: Downtown Sarasota-10 minutes; Lido and Siesta Key beaches-15 to 20 minutes; Sarasota airport-15 to 20 minutes and to interstate I-75 is 20 minutes (keeping in mind this will assuredly be subject to traffic with January-mid April as “peak” season).

Whether you’re headed to the beaches, shopping, downtown, marina, or have a loved one in the hospital, you will find us conveniently located. **Should you have any issues/concerns or questions during your stay, please notify us ASAP and allow us the opportunity to address/solve them.**

It was going above and beyond for Linda, who took the extra step of securing for us a better accommodation on short notice since the cottage's A/C wasn't working. We really appreciate it. Had the A/C been working we would have like our stay at the cottage: it was well set up, clean and convenient to town.

Book the bungalow!
Bob and Linda’s bungalow is very lovely and perfect for a couples getaway! We felt very taken care of, food and supplies were stocked, the place had easy access, it was quiet, GORGEOUS, and centrally located to downtown or to the beaches. The place accommodates to different types of travelers whether you’re on-the-go or moving slow, (we were both!) Very happy with our stay and can’t stop telling everyone about it! Perfect for 2 people
My husband and I were in Florida for some beach time but also to look at some new home developments. This place was close to where we wanted to be within an hour. Easily few minutes drive to several beaches. The unit was very well stocked with drinks and snacks, toiletries, and we had the use of beach chairs and an umbrella. The owners were very friendly and helpful with suggestions. We parked in a carport right outside the house and the bungalow was through a fence. We would stay again if in the area.

Small and Sweet!
My husband and I stayed here for our one year anniversary trip and had a great time! The pool and backyard patio were nice and clean, and the bungalow itself had very nice amenities. It was smaller than we had realized when we booked it, but it was perfect for our needs. The property managers were so kind, and their dog Willoughby was so sweet and cute! Overall, we definitely recommend this place for couples!

Awesome getaway
We had a great stay. Linda and Bob were excellent hosts. We will definitely be coming back in the future. My brother lives in Parrish and our friends live in Ellenton and that was the reason for our visit. We love the gulf coast and this was the perfect location close to family and friends and so many beautiful beaches nearby. Thanks again.

Absolutely perfect!!!
I can’t say enough good things about this darling casita!! It exceeded our expectations and was exactly what we needed. Linda has anticipated and filled every need and then some! The location is very convenient to Tamiami Trail and any business you could need to visit. We particularly liked Walt’s Seafood Market/Restaurant and there’s a lovely Trader Joe’s across from that. We will definitely be back!

clean stay with great extras!
We really enjoyed our stay. The listing was exactly as advertised. It was extremely clean, and it included so many nice touches: quality bath products, great beach chairs, plenty of towels, and a nice bed! We also greatly appreciated the coffee and creamers that were provided. A bonus, if you like dogs, is their duo of very cute scruffy terriers who will pop out for a visit (upon request) in the shared courtyard/pool area. I'd also strongly recommend this place for a solo female traveler. It felt so incredibly safe! Thanks to Linda and Bob. If we return for O's spring training next year, we will book this place again.

Wonderful Experience!
The cozy cottage was perfect for two people. It had everything we needed and was in a perfect location for the beach, golf, Orioles Spring training at Ed Smith Stadium, and the patio and pool were perfect if we wanted to chill. Loved it and hope to be back next year.
