"We have just returned from Villa Agrielia after having a wonderful and relaxing 14 days holiday. Many thanks to our hosts Stelios, Maria and family for your friendliness and hospitality helping us to enjoy our stay. The villa is beautifully decorated in a traditional stone wall and wooden ceiling style situated in a quiet village. It is an ideal base for exploring if you so wish, but car is essential if you are out every day. We made use of the bikes riding to Episkopi on several occasions and found people so friendly they really make you feel at home. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend the villa to family and friends."

"A beautiful spot in a lovely village. We only wish we had stayed longer. Beds and rooms are spacious well lit and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with delicious fresh food with coffee and fresh orange juice. It’s the same every day so if you like variety best be prepared to cook in your room or walk. Easy but somewhat hilly walk to the main square, full of vibrant tavernas with good food. Excellent friendly service from the staff. "

"We had a wonderful week in this property. The pictures don't do it justice and it is very well appointed and comfortable. Our host Eirini and her husband were very welcoming and friendly and communication throughout was excellent. The location was perfect for us with tavernas and a mini market just a few minutes walk away and a short drive into the city and local attractions and the views from the villa were spectacular and the pool and games room kept the kids happy & occupied all week. We would highly recommend this property."

"A small group of modern appartments in a rural location with a great pool and stunning views. 20 min walk from village with good restaurants and shops. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Going breakfast available. The walk back from the village is steep but a taxi was 5 Euros. If you get the exact Google Maps location it is not difficult to find. "

"Hotel Esperides is a lovely quiet hotel on the main road just across from the road into Myrtos, a quiet tourist town on the southern coast of Crete. Wonderful breakfast for 9 euros per person, with large assortment of foods. Small elevator available. Very accommodating when we arrived early from the ferry to Heraklion, Crete; we were able to purchase breakfast even before check in, and they got 2 rooms ready for us an hour or so before their usual check in time. Also arranged taxi back to Heraklion for us for the day we left. Easy walk into Myrtos and to the beach. Free parking for those who had cars. Mostly European tourists; lots of families. Would definitely stay there again."
