"They didn't have a room so they "upgraded " us to an apartment 50 metres away, which was nice, but we didn't have all the hotel amenities directly although they were available for us (breakfast, pool etc) All in all it was good."

"We initially booked the hotel based on the amazing reviews online and we want to fully endorse everything that has been said about this fantastic hotel. This is a very special place to stay and well worth making the ferry trip to Kalymnos - the staff go the extra mile with everything and clearly really enjoy their job. The junior suite was gorgeous and had so much space! Really modern and clear attention to detail. The breakfast was perfect each morning, likewise with eating in the restaurant....

"Great location with splendid view towards the sea. Georgia was a generous host. Quirky but charming property. "

"Stunning setting in a beautiful converted old farmhouse. It was so peaceful, a natural paradise. We were made very welcome and it was easy to contact the owner, George, should we need anything. We loved exploring the island on a scooter. We found lovely beaches at both sides of the island. And there is a great, traditional taverna about 30 mins away. We didn't want to leave!"

"We had a last minute trip to kalymnos staying at Alkyonis apartments hosted by the lovely Evi who in spite of flight delays kept well In touch with us by email as well as text message. The warmest welcome greeted us on our arrival and Evi's kindness and helpful manner continued all week. The apartments are perfect for a comfortable stay in a beautiful quiet relaxing area of the island. We have loved staying so much that we are already planning our return next year. "The property looks good for pictures but that's about it. It is a long walk from the beach and no beach gear is offered. Practically all amenities described are not offered in actuality. No sauna, massage, no "Manager's reception", whatever that means. We couldn't find anyone to check in when we got to the property at 8pm. They apparently complained to the locals about it since we had to knock on their part of the residence (it's a small village) despite the check-in stating 2pm-10pm. For air...

"Conveniently located in downtown/port area. You can even walk to the beach nearby or took a short taxi ride to better beaches on the island if you're planning a longer stay for the day. Hotel is in good enough condition, good/typical breakfast; we were happy overall for the price. "

"Really enjoyed our stay at the 9 muses. Our suite was very pretty, the staff was friendly, and the food was very good. The only downside is that the hotel is pretty isolated, and it can take a lot of time for cabs to arrive... would rent a car if staying at this hotel!"
