"We have stayed here many times in the past 8 years and this was the worst stay. The inside pool was under construction, the one outside pool was also under construction. Terrible roof over the other outside pool. The fridge in our room was filthy and unusable. The balcony/terrace outside our room was also filthy-bird feathers and bird poo everywhere. "Superb hotel, location is excellent with very modern facilities. Friendly staff, with a great breakfast selection. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Borovets if we were to return. This is isn’t about the hotel but Borovets resort needs to start investing in new lifts etc - the lift pass cost has increased and the facilities should too. "A 4* hotel this is not. It's OK if you're just looking for a place to crash in Borovets but it's on the outskirts of town (10 min walk to town if you're not in ski boots). Has a sauna but no jacuzzi or steam room and the pool is not really big enough for swimming properly. Breakfast was average if you got there reasonably early but by 8am everything on the hot counters is cool and doesn't get replaced."
