When we arrived to Oia the staff were really helpful and kindly carried our luggage to our room and we initially felt very welcome. The room itself appeared to be lovely- however the furniture was faulty, with the bed breaking when we were asleep (we hadn’t slept in 24 hours so this was not ideal!). We contacted the staff who came to our room and informed us that we need to move to another room for the night and that we could only stay there for the remainder of our stay, only to be told after moving all of our bags that we were misinformed and could only stay there for part of our stay. This was very frustrating as we didn’t get much sleep either in the new room as there was loud banging noises throughout the night. We then moved back into our old room the next day (where the bed was now fixed). As a result of this, we were also offered a spa 30 min treatment which was lovely and we were grateful to have received this. But we noticed that after our complaint, one staff member (Helena) started to act very coldly to us on multiple occasions and was very different to how she was when we first met her. The other staff were very lovely. Despite this, the breakfast was brilliant and always on time and the hot tub at the top was excellent.
