Had a lovely relaxing week at Hotel Drossos. Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was lovely. All of the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely worth the money.

Great stay!
Our stay here was amazing, Alex the reception man was extremely friendly and helpful! The cleaner was also lovely too and very accommodating. The view is beautiful and very close to the beach. Staff were always willing to help with any questions and recommendations. Bus stop into fira is very close, also close to all the restaurants and shops. A great location to stay at! Breakfast was lovely and could be served wherever you felt comfortable, room or pool. Would definitely return to this lovely hotel.

Amazing staff make you feel really welcomed with great breakfast options and always available coffee or tea. Great to have pool and very close by to the beach and multiple restaurants and bars.

It’s a scam hotel!
Absolute scam hotel! Avoid!!! We arrived before check in to be told that the guest in our room requires late checkout - so we are escorted to a hotel down the road. This hotel was barley a 2* dirty and noisy fine we stuck with it for one day and gave them the benefit of the doubt.we arrived the next morning and aksed to check in - we are given excuse after excuse the room will be ready in 30mins 2 hrs later no room. The most ridiculous hotel ever the owner keeps getting people in and carting them off to different hotels around the island. We contacts hotels.com and got our money back we found a much nicer hotel down the road for much cheaper too! Don’t stay here honestly worst choice we made!

we arrived only to be told they were full so we were relocated to a different hotel which was quite a long walk away which was difficult as i have bad hips, the hotel we were put into was ok but was used for people just needing a night or 2 so it was a bit unsettled. when we were finally moved back to the drossos it soon became clear that they had not been full at all. the pool area was very untidy a large area was just unusable the pool bar had clearly been closed for sometime and the free transport and promised laundry service did not exist.the breakfast although in heated servers was always cold and therefore unappatising and the fruit juice was made with powder, a dissaponting stay overall.

Nice and very close to the beach
Great Staff! Great Breakfast! Great experience. Very clean and comfortabl. Only issue is the shower water was horrible but I think that's just an island thing. Overall VERY GOOD. The staff was amazing George set us up with a rental car and told us all the amazing things to do in Santorini.

little bang for the buck
Generally main issue with this room is its price. Cost is simply too high and not much is given for it. There was a problem with a bathroom where water leaked into living area whenever we took showers because the curtain was too short! We then had to wipe the floor to collect the water so that it does not affect our suitcases. Shower curtain holder was not inserted properly so it happened that it fell off the wall once and I had to fix it. There is no wi-fi in the rooms and the one available in the lobby by the reception desk works on and off, and is often very slow. TV in the room (not that I went to Santorini to watch it) was the smallest possible 12inch and it was fixed so far away from the bed up on the wall that it required binoculars to watch. Staff was pleasant (occasionally slow) and overall cleanliness was satisfactory.

On arrival I was checked in quickly and shown to my room. My bag was carried for me and room facilities demonstrated. The room was spacious and comfortable, beds were comfortable. The bathroom was large and fitted with a large double shower ( no bath). TV, air conditioning, fridge, plenty of hangars in the wardrobe and large terrace with sunbeds table and chairs. The pool and sun terrace were of a good size for the size of accommodation, with sunbeds and tables and chairs, two parasols and some trees for shade. Breakfast starts at 8 AM and although basic there was plenty of fresh bread, sliced meats, cheeses, fresh watermelon and tinned fruit and yoghurt, with a different hot egg dish and local specialities everyday. The location is excellent a very short walk to the beach, directly opposite a shop selling all the basics, a short walk to a larger supermarket, pharmacy, cashpoint and 24 hour bakery. A cocktail bar across the road is noisy but closes at a reasonable hour, and is handy for a drink!

Hotel Drossos is located within walking distance of the black sand beach which is great! The staff was not very helpful and we feel that they took our money without delivering the services that we paid for. The breakfast foods are not very diverse or very tasty.

The room was underwhelming as we paid to up grade to a maisonette. The ac unit was on the ground floor and the bedroom is upstairs so no cool air but a fan was provided.

Extremely disappointed
We were extremely disappointed with our stay here. We arrived and were declined the free breakfast as it had been advertised and spent the first few hours trying to sort that out. Were disappointed to see that everything advertised was not as it seemed. They said they had a lot of amenities such as laundry, café etc this is not true, they are in the town but not at the hotel so not sure why this was advertised. We had to spend 14 Euro on laundry which is very expensive. Our room was not good, bed was broken, shower was broken, TV sound only worked every now and again. We received dirty towels on our first day. The toilet also did not flush properly and we had to put water in with shower to flush it. Extremely disappointed when all you want to do is relax and enjoy at Santorini, not have to worry about all of this at hotel.

AC didn't work, service was terrible, beds were very hard. Shower water is salty? We witnessed people with luggage washing their hair in the pool, using soap wash their bodies and brushed their teeth in pool grounds... Not sure if they were squatters.. But, definitely sketchy! The location is great, if you can find another hotel on the same road (which I did see) stay there instead!

Close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Bus stop is just a few minutes walk. The Hotel Is ok But not very clean, gardens need maintenance and the rooms a good clean everyday. There Is no drinking water in The rooms. The shower water is water from the ocean not full treated, so it is salty. The beach Is great and if you want a good place to eat and at a reasonable price go to "Poseydon" in front of the beach.

Friendly, but a bit run down
The photographs look very nice and are fairly accurate, but must have been taken a few years ago as the rooms we saw were a bit run down. We booked a superior room and it was ok, but a bit grubby and there was about an inch of fluff and dust under the bed and there was no sign of the coffee/tea maker or designer toiletries in the rooms. The towels were changed every day, but the sheets were never changed in the week we were there. The best parts of the hotel are the reception and breakfast areas. It was all a bit disappointing after seeing the description and photographs, but saying that, the staff were very friendly and helpful and we did enjoy our stay, but wouldn't stay in the Hotel Drossos again.

Great staff very informative extremely kind & helpful.pool was great & hotel is 3 minutes walk to the beach. Hotel rooms are good size very Greek style. Breakfast was good but maybe could do with a toaster & omelettes kept warm. Bathroom light needed to be brighter. But these are not anything big overall a great place to stay everything close by & you feel very comfortable.We would stay here again if we came to santorini.
