Beautiful view of the caldera
The view of the caldera from this property is without a doubt stunning. However, the property itself is not quite as nice as the pictures show. The lodging is VERY basic, especially if you end up staying in the upstairs bedroom with the "ensuite" bathroom. It is tiny and the bathroom feels like it is almost in the bedroom with just the door separating the 2 rooms (no window in the bathroom, so not much of a venting system, AND you are not allowed to flush any toilet paper at all).
The downstairs is more spacious, so if you are sharing the house, the downstairs guests will have a much better experience, especially with the bathroom being a little bigger (allows for some bathroom supplies) and away from the bedroom; it's off the kitchen. The kitchen needs kitchen towels. All they had was paper towels to dry dishes. The house needs throw blankets, so that when you sit outside, you can cover yourself. The housekeeping services are daily, which is definitely needed considering the bathroom circumstances. Overall, I would not rent this house again nor recommend it to anyone... however the view is incredible (but possible to get from many other places on Santorini Island, so keep looking).
