The place has beautiful view to the caldera and sea, and it’s located in a good place from Imerovigli, Thira is very near from there.

Great location close to Fira.
The hotel is an extremely well situated property! Large FIRM European beds. The staff are friendly and helpful. 3 level hotel. Breathtaking views from second and top floor suites! Beautiful view 10 steps from lower suites. 2 convenience stores and 4-5 restaurants, tour agencies , rental vehicles within 400 metres. 20 min walk to downtown Fira. 2 1/2 hour hike to historic town of Oia.

The location is amazing. Finding the property was extremely difficult and there is no parking. Be ready to lug all your luggage through the streets and up many steps. The room was TINY. The check in reception is only on site 9 am to 3:30 pm. So anything you need has to be handled in that time frame. You can text, but we didn’t get a reply until 9am the next day. The view is spectacular. The room was clean.

The room was clean with a good view. However, bathroom was stinky. The breakfast quality was poor with terrible service. Breakfast was provided after 9.30am with un-toasted bread. Who gives breakfast after 9.30am!! If you don’t want to provide breakfast just take it off from the service.Their service showed ignorance.

Great Location and View With A Caveat
Wonderful location with an amazing view! The staff here are great - super friendly and helpful. However, there were a few details about the property that we found to be few frustrating. First of all, one of the reasons why we booked this hotel is because it was listed as having a laundry service. Given the duration of our time in Greece, we knew we would need this. Unfortunately there was no laundry available, and the closest laundromat was about a 30 minute walk away. There were no delivery options nearby, either. Secondly, the door on our hotel room was challenging to open and close, and even when closed, there was a crack that allowed bugs (mosquitos) in. Finally, on our last night, about half an hour after the reception closed, our shower refused to work. There was very little water pressure, and no heat. We ended up having to do a sponge bath with bottled water. Not ideal. Other than these frustrating factors, we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast is filling, and it is perfect to enjoy with the excellent view. Great hotel for the value, if you don't mind putting up with some annoyances.

A nice simple hotel with a million dollar view
It was a great stay in Agave Hotel. The hotel is situated in Imerovigli, right on top of the caldera (cliff). The room was quite simple but comfy. Despite its simplicity, it has a million dollar view even from our hotel room. We could watch sun rise and sun set in the comfort of our balcony. One thing you should know, the receptionist only opens at 9.30AM to 3.30PM. We got there quite early in the morning, so we could not check in right away as the receptionist was not on site yet. But, we managed to walk around the neighbourhood and took a lot of beautiful photos while there were no people around. The neighbourhood would start to be very crowded and busy in the afternoon. We came back to the hotel at 9.30 when the receptionist opened. We were attended to by Irini. She was pretty helpful and friendly. She gave us early check in at 12PM instead of 3PM free of charge. And she could be reached on her number whenever we needed something outside if the opening hour. There is a mini market just behind our hotel which sells plenty of stuff. You can find almost everything in the shop. It opens from 7.30AM to 11PM. However, the restaurants opened quite late. Almost all restaurants open at 11AM. So if you're a morning breaky person, you can only get some simple breaky stuff from the mini market. In overall, it was a pleasant trip. It is value for money. I would highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely come back again if I had an opportunity to travel back to Santorini.

I booked and stayed this “hotel” and I must say, it’s the WORSE “hotel” I’ve stayed at and I was so pissed. First off, it’s false advertisement. The place looks NOTHING like the pictures. I was SO MAD and EMBARRASSED, that I didn’t even take no pictures or videos to put on my social media accounts. It’s not easy to find. The room has one tiny window. You can’t have your window opened when getting dressed because someone walking by can see you. The bathroom floor and even almost to the bed stays wet after you shower because the water runs down. I slipped a few times. There’s a tiny towel on the floor which ends up being soaked. There’s so much noise coming from other rooms and also outside with cars and motorbikes or people walking. If you need something, you have to wait for the people to return to work the next day because the “reception” closes at 3pm. Their “continental breakfast” consists of 2 yogurts, an orange and a cold sandwich. Mine was put in a brown paper box, like I’m going to pre-school with my lunch. I never ate it. The view is definitely not as advertised. It’s the worse money spent. NOT worth the prices they’re charging. I left before my initial check out time. I had enough. Will definitely NOT recommend staying here.

Me gusto el hotel, muy buena ubicación, la habitación es pequeña pero muy agradable y la cama era cómoda. La parada de autobús que te lleva a Fira (o si vienes de Fira) está a unos 5 minutos caminando del hotel. Fira está a unos 25 minutos caminando desde el hotel, ahí se encuentran varias tiendas, restaurantes, panaderías. Recomiendo caminar porque tienes unas vistas impresionantes de la caldera todo el trayecto. Sino se quisiera caminar cerca del hotel hay también algunas tiendas y lugares para comer.

Communication compliquée avec la réception, que ce soit pour le Check in ou autres. La réceptionniste est de bonne volonté mais propose de déposer un petit déjeuner dans la chambre la veille car il n’est pas possible de le prendre avant 9:30 mais elle oublie. Coupure de courant dans la soirée et quasiment plus d’eau. Bruits de tuyauterie… L’emplacement est correct.

Great view--right on the Caldera, located off the heavily-trafficked tourist paths. Terrace feels more private than many upscale accomodations which our down the slope. Room is decent size for one person or a couple. Breakfast is very good. They will meet you at the taxi drop off on the nearest street. Not recommended for people with mobility issues.

Excellent location
Brilliant location with ease walk down into Fira and fantastic views on your door step. Service from Sergio (Hotel Manager) was excellent, he was always very prompt and helpful. Even though the hotel doesn’t have a pool, there’s access to one down the road for guests from Agave - this is important as it can be very hot in August!! Only down side of this hotel is the shower, as we always ended with a soaking bathroom… but it is a good price for its location.
