"No emergency numbers ie Doctor ,Dentist, Vet, Fire or flood or electricity. No information about shops bars restaurants or places to visit. Very very overlooked and close to neighbours with barking dogs and Crowing early morning Cockerel!!!. Had NO contact with owner apart from 1 Phone call never saw the man . Unable to discuss various problems with A The oven that kept switching itself off and didn’t,t reach temperature! B Front door unable to lock properly!"

"Such a charming property in a beautiful, unspoiled region. We loved being in the countryside just outside Melides. Great pool and outside space with fantastic beaches and resturants nearby. Host was super attentive and gave us excellent local tips. Highly recommend!"

"Really enjoyed our week's stay. Fantastic property, clean very well appointed and the host was very kind in leaving us some items for arrival. Comporta area was very quiet which for us was perfect, no need for reservations at restaurants even at the weekend. Due to the off season it meant driving out to dinner to Comporta of other places which were all within 10 minutes."

"A lovely quiet location and it was an absolute delight to have stayed at this lovely house. We both had a lovely relaxing time and our privacy was fully respected throughout the whole stay and we both managed to regenerate our batteries away from our normal working lives hence why we choose this location for this purpose. There is a bathroom with shower and toilet on each floor, suitable for larger families. We were warmly welcomed by Bruno and he was very helpful with all our questions and needs. "Nice and private. A long way from anything... definitely can't walk into Porto Covo safely. Needs alot of TLC. Have left a list of issues with the owner. Owner was responsive to requests about the cooker"

"We had a fab time at Brian and Lesley's villa. It's a lovely property with a great swimming pool, set in rural surroundings. Brian and Lesley are really nice people, always around to help if needed but they also give you privacy and allow you to get on with your holiday. The villa is very remote (nearest supermarket is 14 mins drive) so it's the ideal place to relax. We managed trips to Beja and to Milfontes as well as the science centre/mining centre about an hour north. Definitely recommend...
