Paradise Penthouse Perfection
Wonderful accommodations at Paradise Penthouse located at Commodore's Retreat in Seagrove, FL. The condo is spacious, tastefully decorated with a beach theme, and super clean. Great private access to the beach which is right outside your balcony doors.

Great Summer Trip!
We had a wonderful time during our stay! Property was clean and it was a great setup for our family! We love this area of the beach and realize it has limitations on parking so that was expected but Commodore’s Retreat does need a bigger dumpster or more pickups per week. It was overflowing almost the entire time.

Pricey for the accommodations
The view was spectacular and proximity to the beach was awesome. The condo itself was a bit worn. Several fans and outlets didn’t work, the blow dryer was broken, there was no shampoo or soap (should be better stated in the description), and the dining room chairs were wobbly. With just a little maintenance and some comfortable chairs, this place would shine as a star.

Breathtaking View
The view from this condo is incomparable. Because there is no one above you on the veranda, you have a full expansive view of the sky, a large portion of the beach, as well as Eastern lake. I was amazed the entire time. I spent countless hours on the veranda watching dolphins, osprey, seagulls, sunrise, sunset. I even saw two North American bald eagles perched by Eastern lake! This section of the beach is quite private and it didn't feel overcrowded. There is plenty of space in the condo to spread out. It is well appointed. And access to the beach is super duper simple. We had plenty of questions, and the owners were quick to respond and patient with our many questions. We wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Spring Break getaway
The location was fantastic…although the temps were cool we could still enjoy the sand and water. Lots of skim boarding on the lake as well as ocean. Def recommend renting bikes during your stay, especially for teens! A great way to stay busy by peddling into Seaside. Recommend bringing laundry detergent, extra paper towels, trash bags and toilet paper. Our crew ran out quickly. Also note that shampoo, body wash, conditioner samples are not provided. Overall wonderful and we’d return

Perfect location for beach get-away
"Wow!" That's what each of the teens said when they entered the condo and caught the spectacular view of the beach. My husband and I brought our son and some friends down for spring break and this condo was the perfect home base. The kids loved having their own space upstairs (and the pool table!) and the primary suite provided the adults our own retreat. The kitchen was large and fairly well stocked with plenty of seating inside and out. The furniture is comfortable and the place was spotless. Sure, having only one parking spot was a bit of a challenge, but that seems to be the norm for beachfront properties. We loved hanging out on the top floor deck, watching folks play in Eastern Lake and waiting for the pelicans to glide by at eye level. I recommend this condo without hesitation -- we would definitely stay here again!

Be advised the elevator isn't working . Also there is a waste line leaking on the left side of parking lot 3rd space under bldg. Don't park there. Lighting in condo is poor. The view of the beach is nice but overall the bldg is old and in need of repair.

Ill equipped kitchen. No knives that would cut. Only one television that worked. Bad experience trying to work out last minute requirements for unit and wasn’t comfortable asking for any help. Elevator was spotty.

Great condo, fantastic location for young kids
The location next to the lake is perfect for families with young kids. During our stay there we’re storms that made the beach too rough to swim, so our kids swam happily in the lake. The accommodations were excellent for our family and child-free uncle and his girlfriend. I’m not giving 5 stars because there ZERO paper towels and beach towels. I realize we should buy our own paper towels and we did, but having one complimentary roll would made our first evening and morning meals and their cleanup much easier. We definitely don’t bring our own beach towels to any beach trip. Generally,, there weren’t enough towels. Literally 6 bath towels. Glad we didn’t have more than six people. In summary, excellent condo, perfect location, poorly outfitted.

For the price of the condo it should have been outstanding. Although the look of the inside of the condo was very nice there were a few things that could have made it great. The bedding was fairly cheap, the pots and pans in kitchen were difficult to cook with (skillets that stick, pans rusted) would have been nice to have TVs in bedrooms. The deck chairs were very uncomfortable and the rugs on the deck were barely holding together and had pavers holding the sides of the rugs down which we all stubbed our toes on at some point. Only one parking spot for each condo although we had 6 people in ours. Neighbors shared that last two years the elevator did not work.

Very nice views but property not a good value.
The location and views from Paradise Penthouse are wonderful. We were close to many great restaurants and shopping. The condo itself was nice, but I expected something a little nicer. The carpet felt old and a bit dirty but there were no stains. The linens were sub par...mix matched towels but they were all white. Sheets felt old. The decor was very standard. This property was on the high end so you'd at least expect wine glasses...there was 1. The rugs on the deck are pretty frayed and held down with cement blocks...look out for stubbed toes! My biggest complaint is there is only 1 parking space per unit. It DOES say that right on the agreement but I incorrectly assumed 1 reserved spot and then first come first served for any other. The condo sleeps at least 7...we were two couples meeting at the beach so we had 2 cars. The owner did tell us about some street parking a block away which we did use but it was inconvenient. Overall it was ok...better suited to a family with young kids than a nice weekend getaway for adults. Side note...we were there during hurricane Nate and everything held up well. We did move all of the furniture against the building and put the table upsidupside down to prevent blowing.

Perfect piece of paradise!
The beach view was amazing! It was better than the pictures! The comfort of the overall home felt like luxury. The penthouse balcony and view combined with the ease of beach access and how expansive the beach at Seagrove was would make us want to stay again! We had to communicate with the property manager a few times and the communication was quick and easy. Several maintenance and troubleshooting instances arose and they were promptly handled! We used shoreline beach rentals for bikes which was a great idea! We explored both Seaside in one direction and Rosemary Beach in another direction. Would def stay again!

Seagrove beach week
The condo was nice and the owner was responsive but a few things could have been better. There was no coffee table in the living room which made it uncomfortable for relaxing. The mattress on the king size bed should be replaced. A storm that broke the sun umbrella on the deck the second day of our trip and it wasn't replaced while we were there, making it almost impossible to use that outdoor space during the day. The elevator also out of date for service. There was only one fob for the beach which was difficult to manage with only three people staying. At full capacity, it would be terrible. Overall a good trip but a few nagging issues that were a constant irritation.
