"The location was great, the room was clean, but the WC was the tiniest we have ever experienced on our travels all around the world. The kitchen did not work so we could not manage to prepare a basic breakfast. So the room price was, mildly put, far too high."

"My stay was terrible. The landlord/receptionist did not even have a desk so we had to wait outside before we could enter the so-called hotel, which turned out to be a very small apartment with tiny rooms. The racism that we faced yesterday night (my cousins and I) was immense. We did not feel safe at all in the apartment. She was Islamophobic and xenophobic; she proceeded to insult me personally, because of my religion (I wear the hijab) and my origins. Other than not feeling safe, I was...

"No one to speak to. Made me pay but I thought I had paid. Speaking to someone would have made it better. No air conditioner. Very cramped. Second window panel did not open. Facility is centrally located and clean. Not noisy after 12:30 am."

"The add said there was reception but there was not. We were kind of fortunate that a man sitting outside had a phone number for the host. We then walked with him down a side street or two to find her. Not very confidant in doing that but all was fine. The room was old musty and not very nice. It was expensive for the quality but there was a festival on that week so other accommodation booked out or extremely expensive. I don’t usually leave bad reviews but I would not recommend this place."

Absolutely worth the stay… Hospes for the win!!!

"I throughly enjoyed staying at this hotel. Even though it is a little on the expensive side I can say it is worth it. From the moment you walk in, until the moment you leave the staff is taking care of you. From helping you with your bags, to parking your car, and making sure you have everything you need. They were very patient with me as I tried to practice my Spanish and took pity on me when I struggled and switched to English. But the hotel keeps its Spanish charm with modern amenities. I didn’t eat in the restaurant because I wanted to experience the city of Salamanca, which I absolutely adore. It was easy for me to do that as I was in the city center close to all the action and once I parked my car I was able to walk to everything. I would recommend that anyone stay here and take in its charm. The room I stayed in was very nice and well kept and a beautiful view of the garden and monastery. The bed was not your typical small European bed but a queen, I had nice furniture, table, nightstands, desk and a spacious bathroom with toilet, bidet, and a shower with kicking hot water. The bathroom also has a heater to keep you warm if needed. If I had a complaint it would be that the room gets a little warm if I didn’t open the windows which was fine for the winter since there were no bugs, but the birds were very loud at night. Lastly, the city of Salamanca is worth the 2hr drive from Madrid. It is one of the cleanest cities I’ve ever visited, safe & teaming with life."
