"Came a bit early but could check in early. Room was perfect , and had a sea view.. Breakfast was very good.. Evenings after 22.00 were quiet although dogs nearby started their 'orchestra' every evening around 17.00. Staff were excellent and extremely helpful especially the receptionists. They even arranged a lovely lunch packet as we had a very early flight back. This was a cozy down to earth hotel."

"We chose this property for it's location and it was perfect for being in the heart of the old city and close to what we wanted to do / see for our short stay in Funchal. We arrived on a late flight and reached the hotel about 1am (took the Aerobus for 5e it worked great). The man at the hotel reception was wonderful - kind and generous. The room was clean and basic.
