"Very basic accommodations. The trade off is the cheap price and excellent location for shopping, cafes, restaurants, and Selina next door. It was nice that they included towels (many hostels charge a rental fee), but they were threadbare. The kitchen has no stove, only a microwave. And no luggage storage when you checkout (have to pay 2,50 per bag at their partner storage site next door). The hostel felt dark and damp. "This property has been frailly recently updated and the beds, kitchenette and bathroom in our unit were good. What was a big disappointment was the attitude of the staff--starting with an incompetent and surly check-in by the hotel's bartender -- we had paid for a third person and bed but he tried to charge us again for that extra. "7 minute walk from the train station, sort of midpoint between the station and the canal area, right by the shopping mall. Which makes this location walkable. Plenty of bars, cafes and eateries near by although I was there on Christmas eve and lest things were shutting down I got a takeout from the food court in the mall. Shower- nice and hot, good pressure. Noise- given my room faced the main street the insulation was surprisingly good. I did hear some street noise but mostly sound proof...
