"Captain Max B & B is great. Located in a quiet area but only a few blocks from the center of restaurants, shopping, and the pier. The amenities are great like all day coffee/tea bar, filtered water, a safe in the room, and a carafe of drinking water in your room. The place is spotlessly clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. My only regret was that I couldn’t stay longer. This place is good value for the price. It is a must stay place if you are in Puerto Ayora."

"We absolutely loved Acacia House. All of the employees are fabulous and want to make your stay the best it can be. We stayed in #202 which overlooked the pool. We had a king bed and the room was large and the bathroom had a nice tub and shower and a nice balcony that looked over the pool. We had a great breakfast which included eggs your way, avocado, toast, yogurt, granola and fresh fruit and a fresh juice & coffee. It was soooo much food but excellent!! Ohhh and also empanadas and bacon. The location is perfect. It’s about a block or so off the Main Street. So many restaurants within 2 min walk and also a salon and place for excellent massages. Whatever you need Bente and her wonderful staff can arrange for you. The beds and linens were so comfy! The pool was perfect! We absolutely recommend this hotel. I promise, you will love it! "

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. The service was top-notch, and they made us feel welcome throughout our stay. For a fee, they conveniently arrange transportation to and from Baltar Airport, which made our trip even smoother. Additionally, they provide free clean cold/hot drinking water and coffee for guests downstairs, which was a nice touch. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay!"

"There was a hammock in the room - we loved it. Overall a great stay. The staff was friendly and the space was comfortable. It was difficult to get a taxi to the pier in the morning and the walk isn’t too far (15-20 min) but we had heavy bags so it was inconvenient. Other than that it was a nice place to stay. "
