A wonderful getaway near Santa Fe
We had a very relaxing stay at the property. It is a charming house and casita, in a very private secluded area just outside Santa Fe. The kitchen is well-equipped, the furniture is very comfortable, and the privacy is wonderful. The Owner communicates very well, and will address any concerns you have. We will definitely be coming back to this property sometime in the future.

First trip to Santa Fe
This is an amazing property to stay at. The location is extremely convenient for traveling into Santa Fe. The property is beyond beautiful and serene. Francis is a wonderful host and answered all of our questions. We are already trying decide when we will be returning to this stunning home.

Perfect Family Vacation Home
Spacious, airy, clean, has everything you might need for a family gathering. Slightly “remote”, but really not far up a dirt hill, about 3-4 short minutes. Was perfectly quiet, birds during the day, stars at night, Our family made great memories here and the host was exceptionally responsive, kind and helpful. We loved it, felt very comfortable and at home

Wonderful place for family vacation and relaxation
The place is great and unique. Very spacious and bright with a lots of outdoors area to set and relax and enjoy the nature. Close to Santa Fe, beautifully decorated, the house has everything you will need.

Comfortable and clean
It was a beautiful property and had most everything I needed. The home felt a little on the cool side, but with lots of extra blankets around I was able to stay warm in bed and cozying up on the couch. :)

Fantastic Property and Excellent Host
We absolutely loved our stay. We typically stay down near the Plaza but this time decided we wanted some peace and quiet. This property was perfect for that. It was about a 20 min drive into town which was not bad at all. We're actually trying to figure out our next return :) Thanks again for everything!

Beautiful home and area

This gorgeous home is tucked back so nicely it provided luscious peace and quiet. Fully equipped for anything you need. The ambiance was elegant yet the furnishings were welcoming and comfortable. A definite pearl for discerning travelers!

We had a wonderful stay in Santa Fe in this home. We were painting by day and enjoy d the tranquility each event by. The gardens were lovely. Everything was in order and charming and we arrived to enchiladas in the frig ready for dinner! Just be sure to come in a 4 wheel drive as this is a hidden gem off the main road. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Luxe private Santa Fe getaway
If I could rate this property 6 stars I would! Our family was visiting Santa Fe for a friend’s wedding and we didn’t want to stay in the city. We wanted a semi remote place to gather. This property was a stunning oasis off the beaten path. It was impeccably furnished in a charming southwest style and we felt at home immediately. Any questions we had were answered, via VRBO, by the host within minutes. It was scrupulously clean! The outside areas were gorgeous with lovely landscaping. The “casita” (the guesthouse) was the perfect retreat for my husband and me while the rest of the family occupied the main house. We loved every minute of our stay here!

Repeat visit for repeat tranquility!
This was our second stay at the lovely Casa Apache! Francis was just as welcoming and easy to communicate with as our first stay, and the house/property were exactly as peaceful as we remembered! Landscapers on the grounds for a few hours one morning was a minor intrusion, but that’s what it take to keep such a gem so beautiful. Thanks for another great visit!

Ski Trip
The house was fantastic. Everything and more than we expected. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with our family. We spent the day skiing at Ski Santa Fe then returned to spend the evening at the house. The location was relatively remote and very quiet. This would be a perfect place to stay during the summer and fall to use all of the outside amenities available at the property. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a vacation rental near Santa Fe.

Secluded and quiet
This location was amazing for someone coming from a busy city life. It was so quiet and peaceful with nights darker than we have seen in a very long time, great for star gazing. The property was very comfortable and with the additional casita we were able to allow other family members to have their own private spaces. We would definitely recommend this for someone looking for a quiet location, but yet still not far from the downtown Santa Fe activities. A great blend for a get away.

The pictures give a good overview of the house, it’s beautiful. They don’t convey how spectacular and scenic the area is. Very secluded, natural and amazingly quiet, only bird song and breezes. If you’re timing is right, catch the moon rise over the eastern mountains, right from the driveway, remarkable!

I can't say enough about this property. 20 minutes from downtown SF by car. An oasis, quiet and off the beaten track with beautiful gardens and sitting areas. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked. It was the perfect location for us. Not far from Pecsos where there is great hiking and close enough to Santa Fe to enjoy restaurants, art and shopping. Great location off the beaten path. We enjoyed our time here and loved the proximity to everything. Only small negative issue is that the coffee machine needs updating. Not a big deal considering all the other amenities. Deer walked on property in the mornings and remnants of other wildlife are nearby, which was nice to see.

Relaxing Getaway
The property is just as described, up in the foothills which we loved. It was very quiet and the yard was beautiful to enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine. There are even trails off the back deck and we were able to take our dog for walks right from the house. Cafe Fina is just at the bottom of the hill and they have one of the best breakfasts in Santa Fe. We accidentally left a mixer at the house after check-out and Francis let us know right away and was helpful in coordinating our pick-up with the house cleaners and handyman to let us back in. Highly recommend this property if you are looking for a quiet retreat!

Beautiful quiet retreat
The house and grounds are exactly as lovely as advertised. You feel like you are far from civilization, so quiet and such gorgeous views - but it just takes about 20 min to drive into central Santa Fe (and that's driving slowly on the gravel road). Good communication from the host. Had everything we needed to cook/grill. Our family of 6 adults loved it. One thing that was unexpected was that one bedroom in the main house has no door - only a curtain.

Solitude Under the Stars
What a gorgeous getaway! It was exactly what we needed---silence, peace, rest, beauty. Having stayed "in town" dozens of times, we were looking for something different this time. Remote but still convenient town is the best of both worlds. We went to the Plaza once, stopped at the grocery store to stock up on our way back, and never left again. Best sleep I've had on months! And what a treat to arrive after along drive and find the most delicious enchiladas for dinner! Thank you for hosting us. I would love to come back.

Excellent property.
My sister & 2 cousins had a wonderful girls getaway at this lovely property. It was very clean, comfortable big beds and the use of the guest house was a big plus. Close to Santa Fe and less then a hour to Albuquerque. Francis was easy to get in touch with and reply immediately to any questions we had. The only thing that was a little challenging was the mile & half dirt road to get up to the property. But I would highly recommend this property.
