"We booked and stayed 1 night in this very cute on the beach cabana. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. We had a beautiful view and enjoyed the ocean waves all night. As a bonus we were invited to have coffee the next morning with the host and they shared a lovely breakfast of freshly made tortillas and cheese creme & veggies."

"Beautiful Villa, these instructions would help a lot when when new customers are trying to find the villa. "When you arrive at Platinos, continue past the "Platinos" sign on your left. From there, head past the sign and you will come to a hill with lots of rocks in the road. Continue up the hill roughly 1 kilometer and until you reach the gate to the villa."

"Nice small house to stay. Having a cook to prepare the delicious meal is great! Doris the manger, was nice to work with and very accommodating. Bedrooms are air conditioned. It would be nice to have a small cooler there for guests with small bottle of drinking water and soda. Thank you so much for the wonder relaxing time away I needed."

"We enjoyed everything Playa las Tortugas had to offer from the ocean to the estuary to the pools to the sunrises/sunset. What made everything so easy and special was having Maria and Mario there -- they were both so great! They attended to anything we needed in terms of transportation, planning excursions, getting snacks/groceries, getting across the estuary, and even gave us ideas of things to do with the kids we hadn't thought of ourselves. "We had an absolutely wonderful, peaceful stay at Casa Karina. It was the perfect size for me, my partner and our two young adult/teen sons. We loved hanging out on the patio, taking turns in the hammock and watching the ocean and pelicans flying overhead. Going to sleep in comfortable beds while listening to the waves. "We stayed in villa 9 which is a nice sized studio. It has a very nice, well equipped kitchen and a very good sized bathroom and shower. Very nicely decorated. No elevator so be prepared to climb stairs but who doesn’t need a little exercise every day. It had great views of the ocean from the room and blackout curtains for that early morning sun and the rooftop is very nice with gorgeous views as well. There’s a pool on the ground level which my husband enjoyed and it’s just a short few blocks away to get to the beach. All in all, we would definitely stay there again. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They even have a taxi that will pick you up and take you back to whatever town you need. Just ask the hosts to set that up for you. The place is located up a ways on the main road that comes into town. We had a lovely time in chacala but be prepared to climb cobble stone hills. 😃"
