This was an overall very good stay. The location is perfect - a quiet neighborhood but still walkable to the pier, the beach, and a number of restaurants, coffee shops, tasting rooms, and breweries. The kitchen is very well stocked with a great layout for making family meals together. The backyard was a great place for spending time, too.
There were a few detractors that aren't deal breakers, but make this a less than five star stay. While the kitchen was well stocked with equipment, nothing else was. This was the only homeshare I've ever stayed that didn't have shower basics. Also, for a beach house, there wasn't any beach equipment. Luckily, a few in our party drove in and were able to bring beach chairs and towels to share, but if everyone had flown we would have been out of luck. We also had to restock the toilet paper ourselves during a short weekend stay. Finally, there were ants, not only in the kitchen, but in the bathrooms and bedrooms. The property managers clearly have notice of this since it's in multiple reviews, but haven't don't anything about it.
Check in was fine, but you do have to call to check in and out and I sat on hold a bit waiting for the check in code.
