"My 21-day stay at Casa da Buena Vista was wonderful. It is located in a very nice neighbourhood that is within walking distance to town. I enjoyed breakfast in the garden while watching and listening to birds, including hummingbirds and canaries. The host, Richard, was very helpful and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. The grounds are very peaceful and beautiful. Every day was a good day- for 21 days."

"It was really a royal flush in the ass!!! After waiting for one and a half hours at 20.00 hours I received a message "Sorry, but the owner cancelled the booking " At that time of night in that area where there's no other accommodation we had to hurry to the next area 45 minutes drive away where we were lucky to find accommodation for the nights, the lady said that we were so lucky because she was just about to close for the night. "The host was totally amazing, Ken and "Rasta" worked tirelessly to ensure that our stay was amazing. Ken transported us to functions and shared the food he grew on the property with us. "Upon arrival, the hotel greeter Allison advised us they we did not have a reservation or paid booking. We than showed her a copy of receipt and paid booking from 2 months ago. Expedia called the hotel and they finally gave us a key. 30 minutes later Alison called our phone demanding payment.No hot water and ac is more like a fan. Not sure if the hotel was trying to scam us since we our foreigners to them. Save the hassle and book somewhere else"

However the hot water did not work the whole 2 weeks of my stay, which i was very disappointed in also my last week there was no internet which left me feeling a little stranded.
