"This is a one of a kind experience in North Italy. The history behind this hotel and restaurant goes back 4 generations, and the hospitality is rooted in their ways. Combine that with food that is grown by themselves, including cheese, wine, meats, and pasta, creates a great experience. The food warms your soul and nourishes your body. "First, be aware that you need to follow ALL of the signs that say, “Runchee.” Your GPS/Apple Maps/Google maps will NOT take you to the hotel/B&B. Parking is easy. Find the place is not. Breakfast: if your idea of breakfast is bread and butter, coffee and cake, then you’re in business. Don’t expect a real meal. I paid in advance and the lady running the place chased me down to pay for my stay. Mistakes happen."

"This place is amazing! The perfect place to sleep in the mountains. Trust your good GPS and you’ll find it, really worth it. We were welcomed and guided by Agostino. It was a pleasure to eat a great breakfast with all local, farm-grown products! Such a nice experience for my kids that enjoyed this place w/o TV. Fam. rooms are comfortable, cute, clean on top of that you have WiFi. I definitely recommend this place so much!"

"Very little English but charming with nice view. We arrived late and a simple dinner was fixed for us. The walk to Bergamo Alta was about an hour and a half from Marco. It was a lovely walk but bring water since there are no commercial establishments on the route. Food was good and"

"The stay was fantastic and all the staff was super friendly and always eager to help and share about the area. A plus is the free access to the gardens of Villa Melzi which are incredibly beautiful and give an easier way to reach Bellagio city center, located at least 20 minutes away by foot. The breakfast is also very nice and if I go again to Bellagio I won’t hesitate to stay here once more."
