Ride down on Carrillo to downtown in 5 minutes as well and enjoy the walking street of State Street, with many restaurants and shops to enjoy. There is a host of restaurants, clubs and shopping as you park and walk on State St. If you go up State to the 1300 block the interesting areas of State culminate at the Arlington Theater. A rich and historic theater which premiered many a movie in the 30’s and 40’s, and now also hosts the SB International Movie Festival each year. Coming back down State a block or so to Figueroa and hang a left. Gorgeous architecture and there are tours as well as perfect views of the city from the Tower.
Coming back down State you begin to enter the club and activity zone again. There are many movie screens on State street and this main City street, now a walking street from the 500 to the 1500 blocks, ends at Sterns Wharf on the Pacific Ocean.
