"Great location, beautiful view of lake from their garden. Short walk into town. Nice size room. My only negative is the WIFi was not the greatest in my room so had to go downstairs if I wanted to download anything. My friend had no issues with the Wi-Fi in her room. Breakfast was fine, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cheese, bread, coffee, fruit. Would definitely stay there again if I were in the area."

"Nice room in a cute complex. No wifi made it difficult. Sheets not included and had to pay extra for them. Good kitchen utensils but no dish soap, so cleaning was difficult. No extra toilet paper provided during a 4 day stay. We had a good time but would have appreciated a few more amenities. "

"We arrived before the hosts had returned from picking up at the airport. I am sure had we been later the apartment would have been perfect. As it was there are no real complaints - a little dust down was all it needed. "

"This is a resort with beautiful facilities & grounds. Dining options including breakfast were excellent. The inside dining room & outside were exactly what you would expect of a top of the line Swiss resort. Driving to anywhere along Lago Maggiore is just beautiful with stunning mountain vistas that take your breath away. Bellanzona with its 3 castles, Coripo is for the VERY adventurous but worth every minute of a trip. All these are a short drive from the resort."

"My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this cozy, super clean, cheery, updated and efficient apartment that offers a washer and dryer! This two story apartment, with an amazing history of it’s own, is located in the beautiful and historical setting of Gandria, on Lake Lugano in the Ticino area of Switzerland. "- The appartment is too far from varenna (you have to walk 30mn on the cliff to reach varenna which is dangerous) and the transport is not really available there, so we had to take taxis (this costed us around 30Euros per day and limited our flexibility as taxis are really rare especially at night) , if you want to visit varenna pay more and prefer an appartment in varenna than perledo - we didn't see the host, he wasn't there in the check-in nor in the check-out... we left cleaning fees on the...
