"Magatzem 128 was a great place for a 5 day stay. The room was quite rather compact however was extremely clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Thank you to the ladies who serviced the rooms on a daily basis - very thorough. The reception desk staff were friendly and helpful - very welcoming. The cafe on the ground floor was also a real unexpected positive for me. Easy walk to the metro station less than 5mins away. I would definitely stay here the next time I’m in Barcelona. "

"The place was acceptable. There was no reception in the building, you had to walk around the block to check-in or if you needed something. Cleaning was decent. I had a room with a balcony and the street was noisy. Bring earplugs. The breakfast is very basic, but it was available 24 hrs. "

"We had a great stay at Hotel Liro. It’s a small boutique hotel. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. We did the online check in and were very swiftly given our keys. It is a great location near plaza real and a super great tapas bar. Even though in a busy area our room was still quiet. We would stay here again."

"Lovely welcoming people. You have to understand that anyone walks can walk through the door and I believe they try very hard to make them feel welcome. Wi-Fi good , there is staff member that speaks English however you should download a translation app as mostly speaking Spanish. One thing I disliked is bathroom outside of bedroom. Otherwise perfecto :)"

"I really wanted to give this place a 5 because the mixed reviews/inconsistent photos made me a but nervous to book but I have never been more pleasantly surprised. The only reason I knocked a star off is for a bad customer service experience at the end of our stay. There appear to be 2 different kinds of rooms in the photos, one super nice & one not so nice. "Our stay was excellent overall. Our reception by Karen was top notch...every hotel would be lucky to have such a person receiving their guests. So friendly and helpful. The room was well designed and stocked, including a little fridge, though the room itself was a pretty small but not unusually so.
