"This hotel exceeded our expectations - we stayed there for 6 nights. Very clean, with modern fixtures and a large shower with good water pressure. The room itself was quite small with not much closet space to unpack our things (e.g., no dresser drawers), but that was the sole disappointment. "Me and my mate really enjoyed our stay here at Occidental! We were in Barcelona for the Half Marathon and this hotel was the perfect place to relax and rewind after our long days. We were offered complimentary champagne on arrival and check in was super smooth. The pool and spa facilities were fantastic, really adding that extra recovery and comfort to our stay. All requests we had were swiftly resolved and the staff should really be applauded - from the door men to the waiters and waitresses in the restaurants and the cleaners - everyone was courteous and helpful.
