"David's place was a wonderful base for exploring Girona for the first time! There is really no need for a car, as you are right in the heart of Old Town. So lovely to plan the day while looking out at the birds and the river, to see a festival band pass by in the street below from the back balcony, or watch the lights on the bridges at night. (If you are renting bikes, there are stairs to carry them up – but the location could not be better and is worth it as long as the bikes are light enough...

"The location was excellent; however, the following items need to be addressed: The apartment had only one bath towel per person, and we needed more bath towels and hand towels. The bathtub drains very slowly and needs to be cleaned out. Some of the cabinets in the kitchen need better cleaning."
