Villa Catieta is a hidden gem in S'Algar:
Located in the pretty coastal resort of S’Algar, this fully refurbished and reformed detached villa is built on a corner plot of 286m2 and is just a few minutes walk away from the sea. With a built area of 95m2, this property is in excellent order and offers 3 bedrooms, (2 double and 1 single), 1 bathroom, an independent kitchen and spacious lounge and dining room with a fireplace. The villa also offers air conditioning, Wi-Fi and there is a TV and DVD for your entertainment.The lounge has patio doors that lead out to a good sized covered terrace, ideal for a shaded eating and seating area during the hotter months. The majority of the plot having been terraced and paved and a swimming pool has recently been added. Exterior stairs lead up to a large roof terrace from which you can see the sea. The villa does have private off road parking. S’Algar is a popular location for both tourists and full time residents alike. All main services are found in the nearby town of San Luis whilst S’Algar itself does offer a selection of seasonal bars, small shops and restaurants. It is also home to one of the main dive centres in Menorca. Other nearby areas include the pretty cove of Alcaufar and the beaches of Binibeca and Punta Prima.

Great Villa with all the amenities and clean and tidy. The pool was fantastic and the location was great. A great place for a young family. We needed extra sheets and they arrived straight away. Only issue was some incorrect information given to us on the day we checked out but that was nothing to do with the villa itself which was lovely.

Lovely stay in S'Algar
S'Algar is very quick and easy to get to from the airport. A quiet sleepy town with a couple of restaurants, a bar a couple of supermarkets and a dive centre. Nearby in Sant Luis is Eroski supermarket that is very good and has a great meat and fish counter. We used the little supermarkets in S'Algar for daily bread etc. The villa is a short walk to the sea. If you are driving would recommend nothing bigger than an aygo to fit into the parking space that comes with the villa. On street parking is availble but limited. The villa itself is lovely, in need of a little bit of tlc ie wardrobe doors not shutting properly, the seal round the glass on the oven door needs replacing not that we could figure out how to get the oven or grill to work. There is no freezer section for ice or ice cream in the fridge. There was also no toilet roll on our arrival so if you are arriving late remember to put one in your suitcase as the shops may be shut. Outside the pool is lovely and plenty of sunbeds, a bbq, table and chairs and umbrella for outdoor dining. Patio behind the villa and around the pool needs a bit of weeding but all in all very relaxing break. The only thing we felt was missing was a welcome folder, ie emergency phone numbers, doctors...bus timetables, local restaurant recommendations, tv channels list - the only non spanish channel is the disney channel so we mainly watched netflix. Thank you for a lovely stay we leave feeling truly relaxed and refreshed.
