"Very clean and nice property, but if you are not a heavy sleeper, fair warning…the area outside the property is VERY loud - it is loudest from 10pm-2:30am, with drinkers standing outside in the streets laughing loudly and shouting, etc. I’d suggest earplugs. It wasn’t even that loud during the day with the steady hum of the city. We were on floor one and it was also above the breakfast room which was also loud and could be heard in our room from 6:45am. "A lovely hotel in a fantastic location, modern on the inside, comfortable beds, great shower and bathroom. A coffee machine and/or bigger cups would be good, we also asked for double bed and were given two singles. We asked for this to be rectified but it wasn’t. We could also hear every bed scraping in the neighbouring rooms in the morning when the cleaners were doing the rooms and you could also hear most cars and lorry’s early morning but it’s a quiet road with not much traffic. "The breakfasts and staff are excellent. The hotel rooms and accoutrements are in pretty good shape for an older hotel. Scarlett and Sekh stand out as great employees. The city should be alerted to the distraction and concern guests have over the street people. They need help and we are unsure of what city or national services are in place to reduce their plight. We would happily return to this hotel for the above pluses and its perfect location. "
