"Have stayed in this hotel many times and have always rated it excellent. However this time I ended up in an attic that was obviously part of the roof, due to the roof support beams in the room. There was a very steep and unmarked step to get into the room and from the bathroom into the room. The room was very tiny and had a very low sloping ceiling (the roof) , that was very dangerous for hitting your head when walking around the room and getting out of bed. It certainly wasn't a superior room...

"This was a very comfortable place to stay and the staff was very accommodating. I would recommend it to others. The only strange thing for me was the bathroom door was glass and not very private (there was some frosted parts but not enough) so that made it slightly awkward sharing with my 22 year old daughter. "Very good location, good breakfast. The room is clean, floor fan provides more or less adequate conditions. Room does not have any tables or desks. You need to keep everything in your suitcase. Hotel is locked for the night from 7pm, and front desk is manned only till 8pm. If you arrive later, good luck. Though they have a lift, you still need to negotiate multiple stairs."

"A charming hotel in Old Town within walking distance of the castle. Parking was a 5 minute walk over cobblestones so plan to take a bag you can carry. We stayed just 1 night so that was no problem for us. Cesky Krumlov was magical at night with many sites lit up. All the tourists leave about 4-5 pm so you have the town to yourself. Castle closes at 4 pm. Outstanding breakfast. "
