"The pictures do not do this wonderful property justice. Its is a stunning 16th Century property updated with all the modern amenities. 10 of us stayed here with 4 kids and it was more than big enough. The water from the private spring is delicious, the rowing boat and diving board straight into the lake make the days fly by. We had great weather as well. Kids loved the small basketball court and the many toys and games available for them. The veiws from the veranda over the lake are amazing...

"Der ideale Ausgangspunkt um das Salzburger(seen) Land zu erkunden. Und sollte das Wetter mal schlecht sein, lässt sich die Zeit in der gemütlichen, schönen Wohnung auch ganz entspannt mal auf der Couch verbringen. Hier kommen wir immer wieder gerne her!"

"I took my mom to Austria, close to where the Romy Schneider Sissi movies were filmed. Hintersee was perfectly located, literally at the end of the road! It is perfect for people wanting to experience Austria in all its glory. And who love to immerse themselves in the local community. The owner Margrit was lovely and thanks to her translation app, she was able to guide us for a fantastic stay, The property is close to hundreds of hiking trails, glacial lakes and beautiful villages. I recommend...
