I'll start with the good stuff, because it is almost all good! We loved the location. The beach was even closer than we expected from the pictures. 2 outdoor showers were nice for rinsing off before jumping in the pool. The condo being unattached was so nice and private! Only about half the units were in use while we stayed, so it was completely quiet and peaceful. At the same time, it felt like a little community. We chatted with our fellow vacationers about good dinner locations, fishing, and more. The beds were comfy, and the whole unit felt fresh and modern. Lots of floats/boogie boards/ beach chairs, etc. were available.
Now, on to the issues. When we arrived, we found that the refrigerator was not cooling. We had just picked up a week's worth of groceries, and had to spend the whole first evening acquiring ice and loading what we could fit into our cooler - I had been told in a message that a cooler was provided, but it was locked away in the garage with the owner's things, so we are lucky we brought a cooler at all. We had to throw out so much food. We contacted the emergency line, but got no response. I emailed Breakaway properties and was told that a mini fridge would be sent over Sunday afternoon, and that a new fridge would be delivered on Tuesday. Tuesday morning, we were woken by a call telling us that the fridge was there, and ready to be installed. But it wasn't. We didn't get one until Thursday. I greatly appreciate the effort made to get us at least a small fridge, but we ended up spending a lot more money on food than we would have if the fridge had been working.
We truly loved so much about the unit, and would like to return. If we hadn't had that one issue, I would rate it 5 stars!
