"Our 5-night stay at No.5 Valley Resort in mid-March 2025 was truly remarkable, thanks in large part to the exceptional hospitality and personalized service provided by the entire staff, especially the Manager, Rain, & tea master, Yang Mei. From the moment we arrived, Rain ensured our stay was seamless & enjoyable, demonstrating a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. He went above & beyond to provide us with all the information we needed to explore the Wulingyuan National Park, even helping us purchase tickets & offering insider tips to make our visit truly memorable. The beautiful & elegant Yang Mei made our experience even more special, treating my husband & me like old friends. Her calligraphy lessons were both engaging & inspiring, while her vast knowledge of tea allowed us to appreciate the delicate flavors and nuances of each variety she prepared for us. We will always cherish the thoughtful gifts she bestowed upon us. After 2 days of exploring the stunning landscapes of Wulingyuan National Park, we were able to unwind and rejuvenate at the resort for the remainder of our stay. The serene atmosphere and picturesque surroundings allowed us to connect with nature, breathe in the fresh air, and truly relax. "Overall a very good place to stay. Very close to the National Forest attractions. Staff will need translator to communicate. They can’t understand English but they are very helpful and friendly. Special mention to the waitress Li Ping on our floor. She was very helpful and took care of use very well. "

"When we arrive to the hotel we were welcome with a hotel manager and his stuffs. He is really helpful in planning our day tour at the park and and prepare us for the journey. Staff will also /offer to drive /and pick up to any tickets station around the park. Room, are really large and comfortable with at view of the mountain. When we leave staff also offer as a ride to the train station and help us get to the right train. This service for us is beyond VIP!!! They (Manager) treated us like a families member. We wish we could go back every year!! "

"Dont stay here. The property is not in the location listed on Expedia. The beds are like a wood plank with a bed cover. The dust under the beds was thick and grimey. The photos are not recent. The owners are nice, but its not what you think youre paying for based off the photos. "

"I had an amazing stay at Lee’s Boutique! The staff were so incredibly kind and helpful. They helped me with navigating the city and all the parks I wanted to go. The area around the property was also very nice and quiet. I highly recommend going here!"

"We picked this one due to the convenience of being close to the Wulingyuan national park, glass bridge, Baofeng lake, and HuangLong cave, all the main attractions you need to do - besides the epic Tianmen mountain which is located in downtown ZhangJiaJie just 30 minutes away. Hotel offers transport service from airport and park, but this is for a fee. Taxis, however, are low priced and convenient. Hotel check in team and concierge (Mark) are wonderful so make sure to check in with him for assistance with booking park tickets, restaurant recommendations, and tips on how to navigate the 4 day itinerary in the area. Massage on site is great and at reasonable cost. Rooms are slightly dated and in the wintertime, all public areas are very cold due to heat not being turned on. Only downside to our stay is the terrible breakfast. Coffee is undrinkable but manager offered better Italian style coffee from the bar. Still better off going to Luckin across the street. Dinner is equally bad, but we also preferred Cantonese options since we can't handle the seasoning of Hunan cuisine. Location of hotel can't be anymore prime, within walking distance to the main park and downtown area with Hey Tea, shopping, and other dining options. Pool looks lovely but obviously closed during winter."

"My room was on 3rd floor and there is no elevator . On Expedia hotel says they are only 15 mins away but they are actually 45 mins away . Wrong address on Expedia . Hard to find taxi to get there . WiFi doesn’t work . No options for food at all at hotel or around it . "
