Stunning hotel and stay

This is a suburb hotel, extremely well run with stunning food with nature all around you. I stay in lots of hotels all across the world and this one is something really special. It was my second visit and I’ll certainly be back again. Keep up the amazing work!

Fantastic hotel!

For conditions I have to put one star less but overall it is a fantastic Hotel and one of my favourite hotel. Currently they are renovating the hotel so a bit of building works. Still - excellent food/service/spotless clean - a lovely stay as always.

Excellent hotel!

Excellent foods as usual. Unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked this time so we had bad meals which was very good also. I always stay at this hotel whenever I come to Sandviken.

Superb breakfast but not so impressed overall.

Well, just booked a standard room at sportbacken. 500m walk from the main building, okej. Pretty expensive compared to other hotels with higher standards for the ”same category” of room, nothing speciell. Expected more for the money Breakfast was superb, very nice. Flatbread pizza in the Bistro was pretty booring. Had a long black straw of hair in the shower and found half of an old grape by the tv control :(

Fint rum i fin miljö.

Fint hotell Dåligt städad dusch, hår från avlopp på satt på dusch blandaren. Dörrlås som inte funkade under hela kvällen vid ankomst. Hjälpsam personal i receptionen, mindre service minded personal i baren som vägrade bjuda på öl i väntan på att vi inte kom in i rummet.

En svensk pärla

Ett brukshotell med nyrenoverat Spa, generösa loungeytor och fina rum. Maten var suverän med lokala råvaror. Hög service och varmt välkomnande. Mycket aktiviteter runt hotellet. Vi kommer tillbaka!

Inte riktigt

Personalen var inte serivcefokuserad. De speglade att de var en grupp av individer som åkte runt på än det ena ”häftiga” än den andra , Åre, Sälen osv…. Var fanns de genuina … tja Rummet var kanske ok men man är faktiskt inte så intresserad av att ha en extrasäng under ett skynke i rummet inte med att rummet kostar ca 2000 kr per natt. Om man har ett sådant behov så säger man väl till vid bokningen . Restaurangen och menyn har väl egentligen mycket mer att önska. Tex att ta in ost till efterrätt som är så kylskåpskall att inga smaker framträder är inte ok samt att göra så mycket krimskrams runt en råbiff så att man tappar köttets smak är inte bra. Frukosten var inte mer märkvärdig än ett hotell i en mycket billigare prisklass.
