Not as good as last year.
Second year staying here. New owners definitely have a few kinks to work out. We were celebrating my 30th birthday. First off this is a second floor property and the elevator was inaccessible when we got there. We called the owner and she said she would have someone out within 45 minutes for us to use the elevator. No one ever showed up so we had to haul all our luggage, coolers, etc up the stairs. The next day we needed more bath towels and our AC didn’t seem to be working. We called the owner and left a voicemail. It took 24 hours for her to call us back, thank goodness we could reuse our towels and there were plenty of ceiling fans in the unit. Once they did show up 24 hours later the owner told us she didn’t know what was going on with the air and would move us to another unit. At this point it was our last day here and there was no point in moving. The owner apologized but didn’t seem very sincere. I work in customer service so it has to be really bad for me to ever complain. I feel like if anything she should have knocked a little money off the bill. We paid almost $1700 for the weekend and and not having the use of the elevator for a second story stay or AC for two nights of the stay is kind of ridiculous. Been to the island many times and stayed in many different properties and this went from being my favorite to near the bottom with the new owners. I hope they can get their stuff together!
