"A wonderful traditional family-run hotel and restaurant, welcoming to tourists and also well-frequented by local families. Excellent food, wonderful service, a pool area with views of Etna, there was so much to love! A little away from the usual tourist areas, St Maria di Licodia is an ideal location for exploring Etna and travelling into Catania or Taormina though you will need a car. The team at Hotel Ristorante Paradise are very welcoming and genuinely make the effort to ensure you have a wonderful stay."

"It was in a beautiful setting with vineyards and gardens throughout. The breakfast with eggs individually made and homemade cakes and desserts were phenomenal. There’s a special large communal room with glass views all around with views of the mountains. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom unique. Free parking with charging stations were right across the street. As outstanding as the facilities and grounds were the staff was better. From calling pharmacies to arranging tours to recommending hikes. They gladly did it all. At night they had a different homemade cake and coffee available. I had wonderful experiences at other resorts on this trip but Dimora Cottanera was the best. Grazie"

"Its a quiet rural area. Peaceful and relaxing. The little hamlet is walkable. Restaurants, groceries and attractions near by. We loved this so much we booked it 3 separate times on this holiday. The host was truly a genuine and committed host. That is a rare quantity. There are many professional hosts, but this host is truly considerate of each guest."

"The villa was everything we could have wished for. It had a functional indoor space with everything you need and an excellent shower. The outdoor space was huge, with a big verandah and bbq area. The pool was a good size and when not exploring Palermo, Etna, the Aolean Islands or Capo D'orlando we were enjoying villa days, up to 12 hours in the pool. We picked nearby lemons to enjoy in iced water. Out of consideration we replaced anything we used, including foil, toilet roll, hand wash and pool inflatables. Antonio was helpful and answered any questions we had, he put in a big fan to help with the heat. The drive to it from the main road was tricky - take your time, but totally worth the draw-dropping views and seclusion. We took our two daughters aged 14 and 11 who loved it too. Capri Leone had everything we needed, supermarkets, post office, hardware store. Chimera pizza restaurant was delicious, large good-priced pizzas. Incredible memories, thank you. "
