"It is easy to understand why the Hotel Maria Cristina is an iconic hotel. We arrived to a very kind and very professional greeting. The valet service is very strong. The lobby is truly spectacular. The rooms are amazing. The areas throughout the hotel are incredible. The team is first rate and were very helpful throughout our stay. "Their location on the beach can’t be beat. And the cafe/restaurant downstairs is fantastic. The hotel staff are so kind and helpful and the hotel is charming with its old time elevator. But there is no central air so the room can get hot unless you open the windows. This can let in noise or rain. But the sound of the surf is a natural white noise that is soothing."
