The neighbourhood is pleasant and quiet and there are many attractions within a 30 min drive and a range of food shops within a 10 mins drive. The local sandy beach is good but more like a 15 min walk than the 5 claimed. The property kitchen is looking a little tired and we couldn't find the advertised panoramic sea view! "Wow, what a beautiful villa. The views were amazing. We could have stopped on the terrace looking at the view for hours. We all loved the pool.So many beaches to choose from. Some are walkable but not when it’s really hot.you definitely need google maps to find your way around. There are two small supermarkets not far away, one that does lots of barbecue meats etc. We also hired a boat from one of the beaches and swam in the beautiful blue sea in the bays. We really didn’t want to leave."

"Wir hatten wundervolle 2 Wochen in Carlas Haus. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Vor allem die Aussenküche und Aussendusche waren toll bei den hochsommerlichen Temperaturen. "Lovely hotel. Grounds are well kept. Breakfast is amazing. Pool and pool area is always clean. Beach hotel is lovely. Not a lot to do for the kids, but I think that’s general for Sardinia. Overall, lovely staff, clean, organised, good food. Location is great as long as you have a car. Close to beaches and close to town square. Honestly can’t fault this hotel. Will go again."
