The young lady that checked me out said the room was not prepaid. OF COURSE I should have run out to the car and found my prepaid email from Hotels.com, but I did not, I trusted her. Almost every dish we pulled out was dirty and unfortunately we kept having to deal with ants by the front door area, where the garbage/recycling bins were. Communication with the host was ok. "The house is truly incredible. Very secluded and peaceful with no neighbours at all. The house was very well decorated and everything (hot water, Wi-Fi etc) worked fine.
