The Farmhouse Hotel
My husband and I were not so sure we had made a good choice as our cab drove us to this destination and the last 1/2 mile was a dirt road. It’s in a very remote location so we would definitely recommend anyone staying here has a vehicle! The property is expansive with gardens and grapevines. Rita, the owner, went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. The 2 nights we stayed she cooked us delicious & authentic homemade meals, complete with wine that is bottled on the property. There are chickens, cats & a resident peacock named Pinot!! We are so grateful for this experience and have wonderful stories as a result of our stay. The cons were that we don’t speak Italian & Rita had trouble understanding us at times. Her son was helpful with translation. Also, in our room, there was a deep bathtub with a broken drain that was difficult to get in and out of. Unfortunately, no shower. Overall the house is kept cool.

Ich bin mit dem Motorrad dort angekommen. Klar hat das Navi mich ein paarmal hin und hergeschickt. Aber was soll's ich bin im Urlaub. Ich wurde von Gabriele freundlich empfangen, sie zeigte mir mein Zimmer. Später habe ich eine Flasche von dem biologisch organischen Wein bestellt und Gabriele brachte mir einen Imbiss. Abendessen war hervorragend. Das Frühstück war auch nicht schlecht. Hier wird es denjenigen gefallen die Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe suchen. Dass Hühner morgens gackern ist doch normal.

Beautiful traditional property providing spacious and very comfortable accommodation. Superb breakfast with delicious home baked products. Very kind and helpful hospitality, and excellent communication. The location is quiet, rural and peaceful, and the chickens and peacock were a delight to see. We would love to return.

È bellissimo e confortante sapere che esistono ancora luoghi come questo dove la gentilezza e la disponibilità non sono scontati ma spontanei e l'amore ed il rispetto per il proprio territorio e le proprie origini un valore da proteggere e valorizzare. In questa azienda agraria a conduzione famigliare tutto ciò che è naturale e bio viene preservato ed esaltato ed è in continua ricerca. La selezione di grani antichi qui prodotta e studiata con la collaborazione dell'università di Bologna dà vita a una farina di grano tenero macinata a pietra denominata "Virgo" ed è solo uno dei tanti prodotti che si possono scoprire in questo luogo baciato dal tempo, come la " Saba" delizia tutta da scoprire. Incantevole!!!

piacevole agriturismo molto bucolico. un pò difficile da trovare per colpa anche dei vari servizi di navigazione con non riportano correttamente la posizione ma telefonando il personale dà le indicazioni necessarie. siamo stati a fine dicembre con atmosfera nebbiosa tipica di quella zona. per chi ama la campagna e la solitudine
