"Loved this place, We checked in very late in the night, We were greeted with open arms. We were guided down this winding car path to the back of the property, assisted with our bags & taken to our room. Very Large room, Clean & colorful. Fresh towels, soap & shampoo. Hot water, A/C, Refrigerator & Satellite TV. So the next morning we were awakened by tropical birds chirping outside, Took a nice Hot Shower with good pressure in a very large stall. "I liked having nature around me and its fulfilling breathtaking beauty. The owners/staff are very friendly and understanding; beautiful people. It was a pleasure to meet them. "We had a lovely stay at Casa de Vista Alta in Mindo. It's a gorgeous property in a stunning location, high up on a hill, surrounded by a bird-filled cloud forest. The views from the veranda (and balconies) are spectacular. The staff at the Casa were very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed hanging out with the Casa's dog, Kyova. "The our room and the property were very nice. A mix of feeling in the forest but having all the facilities we needed to feel comfortable. It was also very easy to walk into town from our the hostel. "

"I honestly choose a resort, but I accidentally choose this area. However, I would recommend for those who are low budget travelers but who are willing to take a break and rest in their amazing hot springs. They do have hiking trail, but it is the best not to go in the midst of rain. You will slip and get yourself all muddy. I learn that that hard way. "A precious, accommodating property with pool access straight from our room. Suite had everything we needed. A little piece of relaxation and tranquility in Mindo. Would recommend to anyone and everyone, especially families. We hope to come back one day. "

"This lodge is located off the beaten track. It takes about 20 min to get here from Mindo on a narrow dirt road. The accommodation is basic but nice. Staff is small but very attentive. My cabin was spacious with one queen sized bed and three single beds (two of them in a loft). Nature around the lodge is beautiful."

"This is a fantastic hotel. Very peaceful and beautiful, located in the jungle on a hill side next to the river. From the cabins there is a great view over the beautiful garden and tree tops. The river water is clear and perfect for a swim. The service and hospitality is outstanding. "

"Incredible. Such a wonderful place to stay in the Mindo area. Really tucked away in the forest but only a 20-25min walk or $3 cab to the town. We stayed in the upper level of the lodge which was wonderfully positioned to watch the birds. Excellent service really recommend. "

"We cancel at the property, very unprofessional, rude and deshonest front desk agent ! "

"Great location and big room. Overall a great stay. Things to improve: yacuzzi takes a very long time to fill and you have to ring a bell every time you want back into the hotel. "
