Where to stay in San Pedro del Pinatar

When you visit San Pedro del Pinatar, make sure to take a wall up the pier near the old wind mill. At the end there's another one. You could go further but you'd walk into the sea. This pier is one of the arms that almost close the Mar Menor. You should time it so that you walk back when the sun starts to set. Seeing the sun set behind the houses, the mountains and into the sea is wonderful.

"The hotel was very pleasant, rooms were good and clean. The breakfast was nice as well. For some reason the pool area had a roper across to stop people accessing even though everyone was still using it. There wasn't very much nearly so was a bit of a walk to get to restaurants etc. We paid for spa ..."

This is a real find, it has just about everything you could want and the people are friendly and warm. There is a nice selection of restaurants too. We particularly liked the walking and cycling opportunities and the provision of cycle lanes.
