The hotel is lovely and located within walking distance of everything in the historic district! The best part of the hotel is the staff. Diana and Alejandra were especially helpful and so very kind.

Lovely hotel with several levels of decks to enjoy. Room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff there were extremely nice and really went out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The owners were available much of the time and offered good suggestions on restaurants and sites. Very convenient location too. My only suggestion would be to provide better lighting in the room as it was a little dark. Also a lighter blanket would be nice instead of just the heavy quilt which was kind of hot to sleep under even with the a/c turned all the way down. I would highly recommend this hotel if visiting SMDA.

I stayed for 3 nights its was wonderful. Alejandra and Diana were amazing. Check in was super fast and check out too. Valet parking was a plus for me, also they serve breakfast it was really good. Its a quiet area, but near everything. I would say that Diana and Alejandra made the difference in my stay there. They were always with an smile and ready to help in anything. Thanks Again i will stay there when i come back to San Miguel de Allende.

AMAZING property in SMA! Perfect location with incredible staff - they were so helpful and anticipated our every need! The property is absolutely stunning and makes for a perfect stay in SMA - super walkable and convenient. Shoutout to Diana, the Concierge, for making our stay unforgettable! Also the breakfast is amazing :)

Perfect Stay in San Miguel
We had an amazing experience at Maison Mexique. The staff and owners were incredibly kind, helpful and friendly. We loved our four nights there and would return in an instant.

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, but had to deduct one because they didn’t have hot water on our last night and the water completely shut off for a few hours after that. The staff is amazing, the breakfast is amazing, the location is amazing and the hotel overall is amazing. That was the only one issue they had, and I would totally give them another chance once all that is fixed!

I booked this hotel for my wife who was traveling alone at the time. We were there for a wedding. Not only in San Miguel de Allende a beautiful city with beautiful people, but this hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff was gracious and helpful with recommendations, calling a taxi if needed, restaurants, and tours. They greeted us with kindness and positive energy. Their hospitality and care made us feel safe and welcomed. We have already recommended this hotel to several friends of ours. It was truly a luxury experience from the design of the hotel, the high ceilings, the courtyard and most of all the staff. And it's within walking distance of everything. It's towards the beginning of San Miguel so you're away from the noise of the city and tourists. We will be back again! We loved it! If you have any reservations, I hope this review will be the one to provide confidence. Book them! You won't be dissapointed.

It’s not a simple hotel, it’s home away from home. Everyone, from the owners to the staff is incredible. They will go above and beyond to help with anything and make you feel welcome. A true gem, great location. Rooms are modern, clean and stunning. Chilaquiles for breakfast are first class. We couldn’t be luckier to stay here TOP PLACE! also great for events!. We fall in love with it! and we are looking forward to staying there again…we will be back 100%😍🌟

I really wanted to like this hotel. If you are looking for a place to relax, I would look elsewhere. Beds feel so firm and rock solid to the point where I had trouble sleeping and without a sheet, just comforter. Additionally, shower pressure is very weak and takes long to heat. If you need good lighting for hair or makeup for a wedding, rooms are very dark. It was inconvenient for me to leave for my second night but necessary. Customer service does seem to care so hoping it will improve, but won’t be coming back.

The best hotel ever
I have traveled on six continents, stayed in luxury hotels and some terrible dumps, but I have never had a better experience than my stay at Maison Mexique in San Miguel de Allende. As you walk into the lobby the is an immediate sense of calm. You are greeted by Diana who is by far the best Consierge ever. Through a courtyard and up to a beautiful room. The room is large with all the amenities. It’s painted in a soft relaxing hue, a king size bed and a sitting area with a sofa and chairs. It’s like a studio apartment. Clean, neat and quiet. Beautiful. The hotel is lovely but the best is yet to come. I have never been around a staff this friendly. Polite, cheerful, and willing to help you with whatever you need. Breakfast with the servers Jerry and Raul were a great way to start the day. After a day in San Miguel we decided that it would be the perfect place to get married. I went Diana and asked how we would go about doing this. Within days she had arranged for someone to officiate the service, plan the dinner, bring in flowers, and arranged a rooftop, sunset wedding. It was beyond our dreams! A rooftop Wedding overlooking San Miquel! It was unbelievable. Since we were there alone we invited the marvelous staff to join us. The owner of the hotel and his wife even came. We were then treated to a sumptuous meal, the best we had in San Miguel, the chef is fabulous! Mi reservación la hice en Maison Mexique y nos reubicaron en el Hotel El Palomar porque hubo un problema con nuestra habitación, pero esto NO fue ningun problema ya que la atencion estuvo espectacular y la nueva habitacion que nos dieron tambien. El personal de Maison Mexique muy atentos y amables, y su desayuno muy rico. Solo tengo una observación con el valet parking, que la persona que nos trajo el coche subio a otras como pasajeros y ensuciaron las alfombras de polvo. En general quedamos muy contentos y nos gustaria regresar para cononocer las habitaciones de Maison. Saludos!
