"I'm so grateful I stayed here when I needed a hotel for 1 night before flying out of SJO. It felt like a continuation of my 2 weeks in the jungle/beach - away from the busyness of the city. The accommodations were great, the balcony looking right into the trees was a perfect spot to read, do some yoga/meditation and enjoy breakfast. I will definitely be staying here again next time I need a place near SJO and I highly recommend you do too. One note is they don't have a restaurant on site, so if you need dinner, pick something up along the way (which is what I did). There's a good sized refrigerator in the room to keep your items cold!"

"This is the second time that I have stayed at Xandari. This resort is absolutely incredible. From the staff to the grounds to the amenities. It will always now be a stop I make either on my way in or out of San Jose. The food is amazing. The staff is so kind and helpful. The whole place is just absolutely stunning. And let’s talk about that view. I didn’t have a chance this time to do the waterfall trail that I did last time and they are amazing as well. Don’t even consider it- just book it!!! "

"Just amazing! Waking up in front of the forest was a mn amazing experience. We spent one day in the family tent and it was very confy except for the extra bed. I would recommend max 4 people. Breakfast was very good and in the master dome with incredible view. We also loved the firepit event in the evening when we had time to meet with others guests! Definetely worth to stay! "

"This little gem was a breathtaking. We were picked up by their shuttle and Jonathan was extremely polite. He drove us to this secluded place where Buena Vista is located. The place is located in a forest area. The property is surrounded by trees and flowers. It’s a place where one can relax, enjoy the view of nature and overlooking the mountains and city. You will find inner peace at this location. The staff are excellent and extremely friendly! They were very welcoming. We even had a chat with the owner of the place. It’s rare to stay in a hotel where the owner will engage in conversation with their guests. We enjoyed this hotel truly. We stayed for two nights and will definitely be back again! Thank you for an amazing experience."

"Neat place to stay, pool was on the cooler side for us so we lounged more around, the grounds were nice and well maintained. We used to do the central location to go to the poaz and then to Grecia and other surrounding areas, made a very comfortable home base for us!"
