"I got really lost finding the right bus and Giacomo was really helpful and eventually came to pick me up in his car, which was fabulous as I was tired and with a big bag. The house is a lovely old house and the room was clean and perfect with an ensuite. Giacomo gave me information about where to go to eat and I went to Leo’s nearby where they cut slices of pizza at whatever size you like which is a great idea. "This was a great place to stay for an early morning flight out of Pisa. The walk to the airport is short and easy. The neighborhood is safe. Inside the Pisaland is a common room with a refrigerator with drinks to buy and complimentary juice, coffee and wrapped pastries. Then you have your own room and bathroom. The room was clean and had air conditioning. Also, the beds were comfortable. The aesthetics feel like you are in an older home. I would highly recommend staying here. "

The walls although are very thin so you can hear people in the next rooms and upstairs. Plumbing is very noisy. We were kept up and woken up quite early because of noise. Otherwise good stay!"

It was wet weather and we had no control over heating as it was put on remotely and only occasionally during our weeks stay. We appreciated the clean towels and linen everyday. A welcome pack was not included ie info on nearest shop. So more difficult when travelling without a car. Lucca is a wonderful city and a few little touches would have made us feel more welcome...

It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient.
