"Sardinia is undoubtedly a lovely place but, for me, the best part of our holiday was Paola's house. It was literally steps from the sea and the relaxing sounds of the waves were the background to a much needed holiday for 6 stressed adults! The details now. "Just back from a week in Seneghe and we all had a great time. The house is amazing and was larger than we were expecting. It has been really well restored and is quirky and very unusual - in a good way. "Giovanna is a lovely host and was very helpful in recommending places to eat and visit. The villa is quite remote and rural so a car is essential but it is really peaceful with lovely views of the sea and mountains. We visited a different beach every day - our favourite was Sa Mesa Longa. Thassos is worth a visit - very nice beach there too. We had a good meal at Desogos in Cuglieri - large portions so definitely go hungry as recommended by another ! Had a lovely week - thank you Giovanna x"
