Great hotel with a lot of outdoor space. Not great for a digital nomad who works a 9-5, but nice for a digital nomad who works freelance or for a couple hours at a time. Lush gardens, on-site brunch, easy walk to the beach and a lot of restaurants. Walgreens nearby. Was able to get a surfing class set up, and they have a masseuse.

We had an amazing stay at the Dreamcatcher. The property is beautiful and safe (gated community) & the staff and service are excellent. Beach is less than a 5 minute walk and it is beautiful and so quiet. Lots of local restaurants and coffee shops nearby if the vegan/vegetarian breakfast & brunch options offered at Dreamcatcher are not your preferred options :) All in all - beautiful facility, very friendly staff, great nearby area.

Everything was great. Room was lovely as was our terrace. Staff was sweet. Only odd thing was a stingy towel game. No matter how many times we asked and how politely everyone said they'd bring us more, we never got hand towels or fresh wash cloths or bath towels. Not a big deal, just a note.

I had a wonderful idyllic stay at dream catcher and I can’t wait to return. Went for my 21st birthday solo and the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Close to beach tho it’s probably not a beach you’d want to swim in cause the waves are rough but relaxing to walk along or sit at. A lot of good restaurants and bars within walking distance and most Ubers to get around San Juan ran less then $15 at most generally $6-7. A lot of excursions will do hotel pick up close by. The common spaces are gorgeous, entrance is gorgeous, and the bathroom and room were so relaxing, well decorated, and clean. Just like all of PR the cats in the neighborhood are abundant and friendly and will sometimes sleep around the common spaces which was too cute. I really enjoyed that houskeeping used a different bedspread each time they changed the sheets. The only somewhat downfall to this property is that since it’s in a gated community, getting Ubers to the door can be somewhat challenging. But it’s not a long walk to meet drivers at the entrance gates or you’ll just have to be patient for them to come to you. Felt very safe and definitely rebooking soon.

We stayed here at the beginning and end of our trip to Puerto Rico. Room 22 was a bit dark and cavelike, but we loved the “outdoor” shower! Room 5 was bigger and brighter, but the “shower” was in a claw foot tub that was scary to enter and exit. A grab bar is needed. We enjoyed the neighborhood, but the property is a challenge to find, since gps directs you to locked up gates. The grounds are lovely and the vibe is cool.

This is my favorite spot in San Juan. I call it a zen retreat. Every room is different. With outdoor indoor living. Showers and tubs outdoors with room with patios. Inside the rooms are individually decorated and charming. The staff is incredible and Jacob will take good care of you as will all the staff. Just recently a plunge pool was added and a renovation has taken the space up a notch. The beach is a three minute walk away as are a variety of food options and even Walgreens. The street and neighborhood is in Ocean Park a gated community surrounded by picturesque homes. There’s vegan food prepared on premises. I can’t say enough about Dreamcatcher. Beautiful place to stay ! Comfortable, clean and the aesthics were ao nice !! Only thing i dont like about the location is after 5pm the neighborhood gates close and tou have to walk a few blocks just to get back to the hotel. Oh and beach 1 block over !!!

The people (and the cats) are so nice and accommodating. Breakfast is absolutely delicious. The Coqui can get a little loud at night, but the place itself is very quiet and calming.
