Not hard to find-- almost wish we hadn't!
We understood there was no AC--but most places have adequate fans & breezes--not here. It was almost unbearable until several hours after sundown. (we are from the deep south & are very familiar with extreme heat & humidity)
Also be aware there is NO HOT WATER!!!!
Our assigned room did have an inside shower--but no internet as advertised!
We were moved & were told the new room even had better ventilation in addition to wifi--both were extremely weak! The shower was outside down a sloping, crumbling path--no lighting, no shelf & again NO HOT WATER!
Also FYI No TV. No Microwave (seems they are dangerous)
You are allowed to use their outside fridge and there is coffee & tea available.
I counted 12 cats, not 2 as in the description, who were allowed everywhere--chairs, the table we were eating our supper at & even in the narrow, dark pathway to our room. Poop everywhere! Even if you love cats (we have 2 at home) this was crazy.
The other animals were less intrusive, yet they all wander and leave lots of poop (chickens, ducks, large dog). There is also a collection of old & dirty children's toys in the yard & patio.
The on-site employee, Eunice was very friendly & as helpful as she could be. It seems at one time in the 80s this was intended to be some type of all natural "unplugged" yoga spa & wellness retreat---but that is not what it is now. The off-site owner & her local business partner don't seem to have any concern for the modern day comfort of their guests. (especially Hot water)
The entire facility seemed tired & in need of a face-lift.
If you enjoy primitive camping this is the place for you.
