Fajardo is a coastal town located on the northeastern tip of Puerto Rico. It is a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors with its beautiful beaches, bioluminescent bay, and a variety of excursions. Right across the street and in walking distance of the Peña Mar Ocean Club complex are the town's 3-Marinas: Marina Puerto Chico, Villa Marina, and Sunbay Marina, as well as the nearby Puerto del Rey. These marinas offer access to nearby islands, including Palomino, Icacos, Vieques, and Culebra, which can be reached by water taxi, private charters, ferry, or a short flight with Air Flamenco. While renting a car isn't necessary, it is recommended for easier exploration of the area and the island.
