Escambron Beach is a nice little beach 2 blocks from the building. Never super busy unless a holiday. Great for snorkeling, swimming as well as for kids as it is protected from large waves. However, surfers swim out for some great waves here at what is called La Ocho (there is a surf shop about a block away for board rentals).

The building features 24-hour security, indoor parking (1 parking space included in the booking), 3 elevators, a business center, and a gym (temporarily closed).

Uber's are very accessible to and from the airport and to and from pretty much everywhere around San Juan.

- We can not accommodate more than 4 guests in the unit. Security will check identification upon arrival of all guests and if a person is not approved within the booking, they will be unable to be let up to the unit.
- It is common in Puerto Rico that groups of vehicles travel together and play loud music around the Island. While its not likely to disrupt your stay, there is a small chance it happens from time to time (especially during elections, protests or large events)
- There is common street noise from traffic passing by (sometimes groups of motorcycles that ride around town). We are located on the 8th floor, so it is limited, but some light sleepers have mentioned it.
- We have blackout curtains/shades in both bedrooms. While this blocks out 95-99% of the light, there may some a small amount of light that comes through on the sides. But it is very limited.
- We have 2 A/C units located in the unit. One for the master bedroom and one for the living room area and second bedroom. The building (including the A/C units) are less than 10 years old and serviced regularly. Some light sleeper guests have stated it can be loud for them. However, most of the time, the A/C is not needed in the evening so we recommend keeping it off and/or running the A/C prior to going to bed to cool the room.
- We have a very high occupancy rate, so we are typically unable to accommodate early check-ins so plan your arrival accordingly. If you need recommendations on where to spend time prior to check-in, please let us know and we are happy to help!
- We have temperature locks on the thermostats. You are able to control the temperature between 70-85 degrees. We have found that is more than enough for guests to be comfortable.
- Hurricane/storm locks are on all windows and remained locked for guest safety.

Wonderful stay
The condo was very beautiful as the pictures are showing. The proximately to a beach was a plus. We really had a fun vacation. The beds were so comfortable and decoration of the condo was very chic. It would be nice if there were some coffee and tea available. The only downside for us was that the noise from AC in master bedroom was very loud.

Fantastic stay
The apartment is beautiful and comfortable, and we all loved looking out at the water from the big picture windows. Conveniently located two blocks from the local beach and a 30 minute walk or cheap Uber into the heart of Old San Juan. The hosts were very responsive. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Amazing views!
The property was easy to fine. The staff was friendly at the condo, and the apartment was exactly as described. The owners are very responsive and they where able to help us with a later checkout after our flight got pushed back. The location made it easy to navigate the island in a timely manner. Perfect in Puerto Rico
Book it! This is the place to stay if you're looking for walking distance to the beach, 2 minute walk to the greatest hamburger joint on the island, "El Hamburger" and 5 minute walk to about 4 different other places to eat - LOOK NO FURTHER. SAFE, SECURE, BEAUTIFUL. Hosts responsive, apartment beautiful, easy to find, centrally located.

From the time you walk in, you want to have your camera on or video recorder on it looks just like the pictures online - a sight to see. The set up is amazing. The communication provided by the owners is spot on. The ocean view whether from standing near the window or relaxing in the swing is breathtaking. My entire family enjoyed this home.

Just heavenly!
This place is just as described. It was fantastic! Sparkling clean, elegantly decorated with incredible views. The area is safe and building is very secure. It is a 5 minute ride (or 25 minute walk) to old San Juan. The apartment is so comfortable you really won't want to leave. Lauren was so kind and responded immediately to all questions/requests. I will definitely be staying here my next visit to San Juan.

The Perfect Rental
This place was absolutely breathtaking! If given the chance, I would highly recommend booking your stay here. The ambiance of this place is like something you'd see in a movie. It's just that awesome! It's a smart home, new like appliances, cold, cold A/C, plenty of space. Everything worked as stated and the communication between us, Lauren, and Mike was the icing on the cake. Five minute walk to the beach, close to plenty of food options and entertainment. Awesome family vacation
This apartment was PERFECT for a family vacation with two small kids. It’s super spacious and the views are amazing. , which helped when one of us parents were trapped inside during nap time. My kids loved the trundle bed and the swings. It has EVERYTHING you could need. We especially appreciated the washer/dryer (and two complimentary pods!). Location cannot be beat- it’s so close to the beach, old San Juan. We had no issues regarding noise from the street. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Lauren was very responsive and communication was great overall.

Winter Reprieve
We took our daughter to Puerto Rico on spring break for as a graduation gift. Mike and Lauren’s condo was stunning, the decor was just as the pictures show and the views were spectacular. It was clean and comfortable especially after a long day. Lauren was extremely attentive answering all our questions and they even give recommendations on places to visit. The location was perfect and the parking garage was so helpful since parking is a premium in San Juan. You can walk to the beach in 5 minutes. Their pricing is fabulous you get so much for your money, and even better than a basic hotel. We could not have found a better place or hosts. The trip exceeded our expectations and we would definitely choose them again.

Wonderful sisters getaway
My two sisters and I had such a wonderful time! Mike and Jennifer were excellent hosts- they were very communicative, offered great suggestions. Building is quiet and safe (no loud parties or random people in and out). The condo is gorgeous- giant windows with full views of the water for gorgeous sunrises and lots of natural light. The beds and couch were extremely comfortable. The swinging chair in front of the windows was a favorite zen spot! Everything in the condo was as advertised- all appliances worked, kitchen had plenty of dishes and plates, coffee filters, etc. After a short walk to the local wine shop (shout out to Patrick for advice) and a quick trip to super max we were all set. We went in late August when it was hot and humid but the ocean breezes kept us cool. Unfortunately some (but not all) of the neighborhood restaurants closed— google maps is more accurate than Apple. We did walk to old San Juan (OSJ) the first day (stopped for brunch halfway!) and the whole walk is a leisurely 20 mins. There are scooters for rent or an Uber to OSJ is only about $4–5 as well. Walking distance to the beach for snorkeling in clear water and reading under palm trees was great. Explored the architecture, forts in OSJ and local restaurants and bars. Quiet wine nights back at the condo to wind down. In all a wonderful trip and highly recommend this condo!

Wow. What can I say? This property is absolutely breathtaking. Lauren and Mike are the most perfect host. The house is stocked with everything you could imagine. It’s spacious, it’s beautiful and it’s close to everything you could think of. Waking up every morning to those beautiful sunsets from each window was like a dream come true. Communication with Lauren and Mike was top Tier. They offered many recommendations on what to do in the area and checked in to make sure we settled in nicely. This my definitely my new go to spot when I visit PR. I wish I could pack this place up, put it in my pocket and bring it back to chicago haha. Thank you Lauren and Mike for your hospitality and for the effort you both put into making a home a way from home. This place is everything and more.

Wonderful Vacation
The condo was a wonderful place to stay while in San Juan. It is an ideal location for things to do in San Juan. The property managers were very kind and receptive to our needs. They responded back quickly to our concerns. If I go back to San Juan, I would stay there in the future.

The condo was a great base for our family vacation. The space was just right for our family. We enjoyed using the kitchen for breakfast and then heading out to explore San Juan and the rest of Puerto Rico. Escambron Beach is very close and an easy walk. We enjoyed several outings there. The snorkeling was great along the rocks. We walked to Old San Juan one day and it was nice to see the monuments along the way. This condo provided easy access to highways to explore the rest of the island. I highly recommend this property.

Great getaway
This was a great place for us to stay. We wanted to see some Old San Juan and have quick access to explore the rest of the island. The lobby staff for the building were very friendly and helpful. The unit was as described and the owners were always available for any questions we had. Parking was convenient for our rental car during the trip.

Birthday on the Beach
My family and I went to Puerto Rico for our daughter's 7th birthday and it was worth it. We did and saw so many but we also made sure to take one day and just enjoy the condo because we would have been upset if we didn't. The condo is an experience!!! From the moment you walk in it feels like a cool bruise hit you. The decor, light and airy, not over the top, tropically influenced just right, it was a seductive getaway for my husband and I but a perfect adventure getaway for our (now) 7 and 5 year olds. The photos on the website didn't tell any lies at all! The building is very safe and well maintained and the front desk staff extremely help at all times. The uber driver from the airport knew exactly where we were going, If you don't feel like venturing off far, you can walk 2 mins to the beach and even less to near by restaurants. Doordash had no issue finding us either. I don't know if i would walk around the area at night, just because of minimal lighting, but the apartment building is right across the street from a US Naval Station, so traffic on that street can be pretty frequent. We made complete use of the kitchen, especially for my son that isn't to adventurous with new foods. We baked several times as well. The view is breath taking to say the least. The condo was extremely clean. We were able to meet the cleaning tech when we left. She is a sweet lady, beautiful soul, very pleasant with the children, and actually cleans. Not just straighten out the bed, but she washed all the linen in the laundry machine and was mopping the floors. We all know some places don't clean as they should, that is not the case here. Especially in a pandemic, this was great to see. Communication with the homeowners was on point and once we opened the vacation binder, we really didn't need to speak to them til check out. Everything was explained in great detail about the island and the apartment. It was like Puerto Rico for dummies lol! I intend on returning. I may go by myself. It is literally great for families or a solo vacation. We were very blessed to experience the island this way. Thanks Lauren and Mike. God Bless. (pardon any typos, im rushing while typing)
